If you aren't stacking your monitors, you may not the tall version of that Ergotron mount (unless you want the monitors up higher). Amazon has like-new standard pole height versions of that mount starting at $215, and new is a little cheaper than the tall. I'd check the dimension sheets on ergotron's website to see.
I ordered the mount you linked for a stacked setup, but unfortunately had to return it as the 5 degree downward tilt just wasn't enough when stacking. The quality was high, but ultimately my replacement $80 VIVO setup works just fine for me as I don't move my monitors around once they're set up.
Please tell me what mount you're using for your vertical dual stack with your ultrawides. I have been wanting to do something similar but have found that most dual monitor stands don't have the flexibility to position the arms this way, and the only purpose-built stand I've seen like this is $300 on Amazon.
I’ve got an ergotron monitor arm that’s got the dual as stacked on a single pole (aka, they’re not attached to each other, on arm is physically on the pole higher than the other) and have been able to use it in a number of config like you want. My current is that the pole is off to the right end of my desk, with my main monitor centered in the desk (arm out stretched) with the second arm (set up to hold a laptop) doubled back on itself in order to hold the laptop off to the right of the main monitor. Let’s me get the correct height on both.
Edit: was looking for mine on amazon and found it. Amazon also told me I bought it in 2011, so it’s worked flawlessly through 3 house moves and I’m happy I made the investment back then. The arms pivot up and down and don’t need both sections which makes it much more versatile than other mounts suggested.
Ergotron - LX Dual Stacking Arm - 25-Inch Extension, Polished Aluminum https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036RDOT8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EVT9DbJCRD863
You could get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-248-026-Stacking/dp/B0036RDOT8/
Then you could try to buy a separate arm to attach to that pole. Probably best to get a double stand and then a separate one however, as you could run into weight issues/finding individual parts of the monitor stands can be difficult.
That is my exact setup, although the 37 is mounted and the x34 will just sit on the desk. That is a fair bit of weight, the Ergotron LX Dual Stacking arm may do the trick. That's desk based rather than wall based
LX Dual Stacking Arm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036RDOT8/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awd_x_L1Qfyb0G1QX24
A bit pricey but can hold multiple large monitors side by side with a ton of articulation for each: http://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-248-026-Stacking/dp/B0036RDOT8
Here it is with to ultrawides over-under (34" bottom, 27" on top), but the mount seems designed for side-by-side.
I believe that weight is with the monitor stand attached. As an example the Acer X34 in my picture lists it's weight as 21.94 pounds w/stand, but is 16.3 pounds without.
This ergotron LX dual stacking arm handles both my monitors exceptionally: http://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-248-026-Stacking/dp/B0036RDOT8
If you're going to go dual, and if your monitors have VESA mounts (the 4 screw-holes in the back) I would get a vertical stacked arms like these Ergotron ones. I have that set: they're adjustable and very solid. I prefer vertically stacked because it means I don't have to have my neck to one side anywhere near as often. Moving my head the height of a widescreen monitor is certainly easier than moving it the width. That particular model can also be uesd in the side-by-side configuration.
All in all though, I find myself back on a single screen most of the time nowadays. Having a second was just a distraction.
I dont stack them - i use them side by side - i am hoping to get the UW and my 4k in portrait next to it.... we will see.....
https://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-Dual-Stacking-Arm-45-248-026/dp/B0036RDOT8 for UW it might be better to get two single ones, not sure.... this is just what i have...
Thanks for the details!
I agree that Ergoton arms make it easy to configure multiple arms and multiple monitors.
Ergotron makes a quality product at a grate price. However, they tend to very wobbly. It's just a matter of physics, a heavy weight is on the end of a long pole. Is screen wobble a problem for you?
The XOOT system does allow open space in front of the screen, it's designed to pivot the screen over a mouse and keyboard. To get the screen to clear a MIDI keyboard a height adjustment is needed (see picture from article on XOOT Ergonomics). Would it be acceptable to have the XOOT system occupy the primary location directly in front of you and Ergotron arms stacked on the sides?
I agree that rotating the screen is important, we are working on it…
Note, I’m not trying to imply the XOOT system will be your best solution. I’m just trying to learn what works and what doesn't for your situation.
Thanks.
Check out this one:

You can try something like this: Ergotron LX Dual Stacking Arm 45-248-026 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036RDOT8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MVZwBbB3B46F4
oh, maybe this is what you need. but not cheap.

Right now I have three 24inch monitors side by side and - while looking at the right side of the right-most screen I cannot really see what is going on on the left side of the left-most screen - having to turn my head all the way left/right honestly does not bother me that much. With adding a second row of monitors of the same size I am slightly concerned about the vertical size of the whole setup, but hopefully I can position everything in a more or less comfortable way.
As for the stands, at the moment I use an Ergotron Dual side-by-side arm (link) for two of the screens and this arm is just great. It can wobble slightly when bumped into (or the table it is screwed onto) but it still very stable and has outstanding capabilities for adjusting the position of the monitors. It is miles ahead of the second monitor arm that I use, which is a simple/cheap single-screen arm that I picked up just so I do not have to use the monitor stand (very similar to this one.)
So for the six-monitors setup I am looking at (three of) the Ergotron LX Dual stacking arms (link.) With longer extension poles I should be able to raise the monitors high enough so that the bottom row does not sit right against the top of the desk and if my experience with Ergotron is of any indication, the entire construction should be stable enough for my needs. I did consider a dedicated "scaffolding" for six screens but I would also like to be able to place all of the screens side by side in pivot configuration (which is a layout I sometimes use with my three screens.)
I very occasionally switch to Windows and play games on my PC and I usually either do it on all three monitors (using NVidia Surround) or disable all screens but one and use it for launching games for the Oculus Rift. If I connect the bottom row of the monitors to the GTX 980Ti I can still continue playing games as per usual, on either three screens or the Rift; I mentioned in a different reply that I do not care if all those six monitors will work fully in Windows.
Ergotron LX dual stacking arm. They are fully adjustable like crazy octopus arms.

Don't need wall mounts. Just get a post that clamps onto the corner to hold both. Example
It's the Ergotron LX Dual Stacking arm.
Do you know anything about these: http://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-248-026-Stacking/dp/B0036RDOT8/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
They look solid based on the reviews...
I've got these, the cable grommet holes in my desk are way oversized, these were the best fit (still had to fab plates for the underside, but that was just drilling holes in wide pieces of steel)
http://smile.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-248-026-Stacking/dp/B0036RDOT8
They're expensive, but built like tanks. Amazon Basics has the single arm and the side by side version in all black, for a bit cheaper. http://smile.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Display-Mounting/dp/B00MIBN16O/ You could buy two of the singles, and just slide the second one's arm onto the same pole as the other one. Spare base if needed.
I'd go with something cheaper from monoprice if you can, and most of the monoprice stuff is cheaper shipped from Amazon (monoprice charges a bunch for shipping, kills their lower prices).
I went with a pair of ergotron's dual stacking pole mounts ( http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036RDOT8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage ) - I put one in each of the grommet holes in my desk (had to come up with my own mounting plates, as those dumb holes were larger than standard and the included plate wasnt big enough). Each included a laptop vesa mount, I'm using one along with two monitors and a tablet (tablet arm also is where I'm running my trrs headset line and have my headphone bracket).
Very happy with them - once mounted, they're rock solid and the base/pole have no wiggle at all. The desk they're attached to is heavy enough that the arms never wobble unless I touch them.
Note, the Amazon Basics brand is carrying black, rebadged Ergotron arms (I think ergotron is the manufacturer, even if not its the same product). http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MIBN71I/ref=AmazonBasics_HQP_SIM?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=hero-quick-promo&pf_rd_r=0W0VW731G3T945GARR4V&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=2074929742&pf_rd_i=B0036RDOT8
They have the single arm in the link and the dual side-by-side. Much cheaper, not sure if they have arm extensions in black available (if needed).
Busy day @ work...here's everything I could come up with in a minute or two:
Most everything (Mousepad, keyboard holder, wrist wrest, brass iPhone dock are here - http://grovemade.com/collections/wood-laptop-stand-collection (Note, I went Walnut for the entire setup because I like the darker wood)
iPad doc is the Twelve South iPad holder. I like that it holds the iPad sideways because I watch MLB Games at work and it only works in landscape mode. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B72DNG8
This is the LED lamp I use. It has a USB plug for charging iPad + different temperature and brightness settings and is flexible and low-power - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BV0OL80/ref=asc_df_B00BV0OL803605990
Preferred Desk headphones are the Shure SRH840 monitors. Have used this model for 6 years and Love it!!!! Comfortable, great sound.
Monitor model - is Dell UltraSharp UP2414Q 23.8-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor
Mouse is Logitech Performance MX but truthfully, aside from comfort, it's an awful mouse. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone.
I really like this one, it's kind of pricey, but really adjustable if you need that sort of thing.

This one looks pretty nice as well if you don't want to bolt it to your desk:
