I remember when I first started building. It was so frustrating!! It really just takes time and practice to get the hang of it. Even now I can only do micro/macro coils but I'm really comfortable with it now and I dont dread rebuilding anymore. Theres this really cool build set that someone posted on here that will definitely make building easier

Comes with the coil jigs and ceramic tweezers too!
Today we are taking a look at a Rebuildable toolkit by Halcyon Technologies. This thing has basically everything you need when starting out rebuilding coils. This is a perfect starter kit for coil building and rebuilding in general. I only had two big issues with the kit itself. One the ohm reader would not screw in smaller or shorter 510 connections, and the scissors were not that sharp. Contents: Zipper Case, Scissors, Ceramic Tweezers, Wire Cutters, 2-in-1 Ohm/Voltage Meter, Combo Screwdriver, Accessories Box, Coil Winder/Jig and Curved Tweezers
Pros:
Nice and convent size
The Ceramic tweezers are awesome
Comes with everything you need to build coils. (Besides Cotton, Kanthal, and maybe jeweler precision screwdrivers to wrap on.)
Con’s
Ohm reader wont screw in small or short posts
Scissors don't cut all too well
Some things are hard to pull out of the foam
