I'm not sure if it will help but I love this lotion and I gave some to my friend who has keratosis pilaris and she said it does wonders for her so it might help you as well. You can get it at Walgreens, WalMart, target, wherever usually. You also should try shaving with the grain if you can, it doesn't help your legs be as smooth unfortunately but it may help with the symptoms.
There's one urea gel for foot in Indian market. But I'm not sure if you can use for face.
Next best option is Eucerin Roughness Relief Lotion 10% Urea from Amazon.
I've been using this Eucerin which also has Urea and it's been baller!
I would recommend this if you haven't tried it already. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07H14726J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_9KNNZF9P5GMT6YPWFBT3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I think the issue you're describing is sometimes called "strawberry legs." From what I remember the way to treat it is with chemical exfoliation. These are usually acids like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. These can be harsh on the skin if used irresponsibly, especially in areas that are exposed to sunlight. Urea is a chemical exfoliant that does not cause sun-sensitivity and actually helps to moisturize! (source) Eucerin makes a few urea containing moisturizers, the Rough and Bumpy one is probably best suited.
Check out the SkincareAddiction subreddit! Just try not to take any one person's word as gospel. As both trans and skincare communities like to say, YMMV
Feel like I've tried everything and it's only gotten worse
I had KP when I was younger and it just recently popped up again a few months ago. It has gotten so much worse since then. I've tried changing detergents, not shaving, wearing looser clothes, SA wash, BP wash, BP spot treatment, roughness relief body lotion. Now I am using antibacterial soap and that's it. Should I keep using the lotion? I don't think it's helped but I guess it can't hurt? I also put hydrocortisone on if it itches, which it often does. I thought it was follicitus at first but it really seems like KP. I also showed my derm and they just took a picture and didn't say anything else since the focus was my face acne.
Anyways, it's all over my butt, back of legs, and now my shoulders. I feel gross and I truly am serious that I am not going to let anyone see me naked until this clears up. :( Any advice on my routine? Idk what else to do and I don't see my derm until next month.
They are hard, small bumps. Can’t pop them. No hair in the middle or anything.
Kikumasamune High Moisture (pink bottle) is hydrating toner that has brightening properties. It comes in a huge bottle, so you can slather it on yourself everyday, and it will last you several months (maybe even a year).
If you have eczema, use a urea cream (such as Eucerin Roughness Relief Lotion). I highly recommend reading this post to understand the benefits of urea: https://thenakedchemist.com/what-is-urea-and-its-benefits-in-skincare/
