I got the EV Wraps matte black and it looks like the car came that way. It took some time to get it on smoothly but just required some patience and good lighting (I started too close to dusk and had to have someone hold a flashlight to finish - ha!)

I've messed up wrapping my center console a couple of times, and each time I pulled off the vinyl wrap, the gloss finish was perfectly fine with no scratches.

It's perfectly fine, you don't have anything to worry about.

I got these wraps from Amazon. Very easy to apply - the product has a little stretch so things conform nicely to the compound curves of the console.

I bought a matte black wrap for my P3D console and it’s way nicer. Feels like what it should have been.
