I concern myself with line voltage. Anything else (thermostat, security system, doorbell) is a tiny risk of anything happening.
As for the 'wall wort' (that wall mounted transformer) probably 99% of them are made in China. I find the quality is about the same on all of them. They get warm, but not hot to the touch. And after two to three years they fail.
I run 11 cameras at my place, and I use a slightly larger version of this to power them all:
