Yes, you are stating the Law of Conservation of Energy, first proposed by Émilie du Châtelet in 1722:

What you can see is that you are misquoting the Law when you omit the part about a closed system. Most famously, human bodies are not a closed system.
I think it’s admirable that you know this one Law, but I encourage you to use your curiosity to keep learning. While physics is great, much of biology and human anatomy cannot be answered with Laws from Physics alone.
A great place to start (if you’re not a troll like you’re coming across) is this article here by Traci Mann. It describes how, yes, people can lose weight following a strict diet. But that their bodies do have a natural tendency towards specific weights.
TL: dr Losing weight is more complex than a single Law. I encourage you to open your mind and maybe check out this podcast Maintenance Phase to learn more about the complexities of diet culture.
