holy crap that scares me.
Can you take it out and lay it flat on a table, is it noticeably curved? If it is...yikes.
It looks like there is just too much weight from the power supply wires at the end of the card.
If they still sell aftermarket backplates, I suggest getting one for rigidity, but that card might be too bent.
Something like this is only $20 and might save your card, might check into compatibility or to see if there is one for your card and manufacturer.
Me too, I actually have 2 in SLI. I wouldn't worry about it unless you were looking to overclock past stock... they are still great cards, just know that if you order the backplate, make sure to order THIS ONE. It will save you an RMA, as the KB board is shorter than the KR SSC.
Honestly, there's not really a noticable performance difference, and my cards have never gone above 70c even during stress testing. Also, if you really feel cheated, you qualify for the EVGA step-up program, and can switch out to the 980. I'm extremely happy with my performance, going to hold on to them.
Amazon lists one here, but $59 is a bit rich for my blood.
Backplates apparently help cool the card but it's more of an aesthetic choice. You can purchase backplates for EVGA cards separately like I did.
