Wet rubber glove. Though I did buy this and it works well
Brush the dog with undercoat rake and a rubber thing (forget the name but it’s great for getting top level stragglers off) 2x week. She sleeps in my bed with me, so my comforter (or whichever blanket is on the top) goes in the dryer on Wednesday and all of the bedding gets washed and dried on Saturday.
I also have a rubber broom (link: FURemover Pet Hair Removal Broom and Lint Brush Combo with Squeegee and Telescoping Handle That Extends from 3-5', Lint Brush Colors May Vary https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GLNFNW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_88BF851MKVB64C402XZT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). We sweep up every other day during the week, and the whole house gets vacuumed and mopped on the weekends.
Try a rubber broom on your carpet, it's a huge help. I have a German shepherd who sheds like mad, year round, and a blue heeler who doesn't shed as much but it's still noticeable. I also switched from a canister vacuum to one with bags, and I feel like that helps too.
There are dry brooms that work pretty well for dog hair. But they probably aren't going to get it all.

I have a similar broom it got handfuls of dog hair out of a short carpet that looked hair-free.
My dog is an Australian Cattle Dog, so short hair double coat.
Dunno about long hair and they are much cheaper than 300 dollar magic doggo hair vacuum.
I got it off amazon
Yep. I got the one with the brush too here’s the link
Well. I wasn’t expecting so many upvotes! Thanks btw.
So you don’t have to dig...
I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever
The amount of fur is a lot I know, I started at the second flight and swept it down to my main level.
For you trolls — I vacuumed last weekend and last night was my first chance to clean again since. I work at an animal hospital and have crazy hours.
