Have you looked at recumbent exercise bikes? I don't have any personal recommendations, but I think that those generally support more and are easier to get in/out of.
Amazon has this one that is supposed to hold up to 400lbs, if she doesn't mind holding the handles at the seat instead of the handlebars.
Well, it's going to really depend on what it is you want to do, your budget and also quite possibly your weight. Sadly, the higher in weight you are the less options/more expensive shit gets.
I would love a treadmill, but I absolutely sadly do not have the space for it. Also, I can walk outside it's a bit more of a pain in the arse as I have to get the toddler ready to walk outside, but walking outside is an option that I have, where as biking isn't something that's readily available to me without the equipment.
I do own a bike - I own this one which is great, it gets the job done. Personally I think the resistance doesn't go overly high but it's a good bike for now. I did have a spin bike, but it turns out I'm a spin bike snob and I want the one that I use at the gym, as the one I purchased didn't seem right so I got rid of it. I would absolutely prefer a spin bike over an exercise bike/recumbent bike but I would prefer this over nothing.
I have a lot of other equipment that I use at home - Boxing bag, step, weights, dumbbells', yoga mat etc.
I don't know if something like this would help you at home - but I had this fold up recumbent bike for the past two years (it was still in fantastic condition when I got rid of it)
I was using a recumbent bike this has a weight limit of 400 pounds, but I was using it at 550 there's also a normal bike version too. The seats are bigger so not as uncomfortable.
I bought mine in the UK but you may have the same/similar makes in the US. I've got rid of my bike in December and switched out for a spin bike which I prefer. The seats are a little uncomfortable on them, especially at our size but you can get seat covers, padded bike shorts or even change the seat. I have a small padded cover I put on my seat since I also do spin classes at the gym so I wanted my arse to get used to the seats. It has, it took a few weeks of consistent riding but the seats don't hurt me anymore, which is great for the times I forget my seat cover I mostly use it now for a bit of extra width.
I don't know how much this will help, but I had this bike I'm over 6ft and it was fine for me, my son would use it when he was around 12? So probably around 5ft ish then.
It was a great bike, very sturdy - it says 400lbs but I was using it at over 500lbs. I've traded it in for a Spin bike now, so if you're in the weight limit for one of those then have you considered getting one? My son, myself and my husband all use it as both the seat and the handle bars adjust - We use them in the gym and one of the instructors must be slightly over 5ft and there are people taller than I am in there and we all use the same bikes fine.
I'm selling a (very) lightly used workout bike

Same model, but mine is in gray
Asking for $50 OBO. DM me for pics or if you're interested.
Can you get something like this there? It's 181kg, but I will say I was riding it without so much as a wobble at around 220kg
I had a recumbent exercise bike at home that I used. This is the one I had, it was great and served it's purpose - but while at the gym I got heavily in to spin classes and got rid of that one and bought a Spin bike (Essentially a peloton, but cheaper) I've been using the spin bike in the gym since I was over 500lbs - I use a seat cushion - this is the one I use, but there's many.
I won't lie the first few weeks of me using the spin bike my arse hurt so much. SO MUCH. haha, now it doesn't really hurt at all, you get used to it. I still use the cushion but now only really so that my arse has a little more room.
The capacity of the spin bike I have at home, and the one I use at the gym both have a weight limit of 350lbs and I've had no trouble with them. I'm able to be out of saddle etc and they're been great. I absolutely love Spin. I follow Les Mills The Trip workouts, Les Mills RPM and Les Mills Sprint (HIIT SPIN) I do these both at the gym and if I can't make it to the gym for my class then I can do it at home and play the videos on my TV.
The Les Mills stuff is a monthly subscription, but I also do their combat, step and bodypump classes - my husband is a huge fan of their stuff too so he follows along and uses the spin bike for them now too.
What kind of exercises are you looking to do?

I got this bike from Amazon (I'm sure if you put in the name it may come up in whatever country you're from) - Also, you could get some hand weights, kettlebells etc there's plenty of free workouts online that you'd be able to do even with just bodyweight.
I have quite a bit of home gym equipment and the only ones I use that are weight baring are the bike and my step.
Personally I am concerned about Covid, but I've accepted (to a certain degree) that it's not really going anywhere and the longer I don't do the stuff I should be doing in regards to my weight, the more likely it is that I'll be heavier than I am now and it'll impact me more if I ever do catch it. So I just make any precautions I can, I keep a good distance from other people, I take my own sanitiser to the gym. I wipe down anything I use before I use it and after and then sanitise again
