The desktop itself is solid wood and it's very sturdy so I dont have anything reinforcing it but there is a 5th leg underneath the back center but the desktop is solid enough that it's really unnecessary. I only added it because I bought 5 legs.
It's a triple monitor stand mounted to my table. I got mine from a dutch retailer but it's very similar to this one.
Just got one of these not too long ago and it’s fantastic. Super sturdy, easily adjustable. My only gripe is that it’s a PITA to set up. The instructions aren’t super helpful. Once it’s set up tho, it’s amazing!
I currently run this setup at home with two Dell P2416Ds vertically on the sides and a C32HG70 horizontally in the middle, I use it to game as well as model, but I think it's honestly a little overkill for you application, and I've found that the vertical monitors are less helpful than I'd hoped.
However, with 1080p instead of 1440p monitors on the sides your doing will nearly match with a 32" monitor, which honestly solves a lot of the headache in Windows. I think if you're the sort of person that can already fully utilize 3 monitors it probably will be a nice upgrade, especially for putting documentation off to the side of your main monitor, or using them for remote for/all kinds of auxiliary tasks.
All that said, I love having a titan of a primary monitor and wouldn't give it up for anything. PM me if you have more questions.
: For reference, I use the following monitor stand: [link]
That is why you dont have a triple monitor stand on a base. You secure it to the back of the desk. This is the one I have and its the same thing as hanging on the wall but the monitors have a nice curved orientation.
I had this one laying around from a triple monitor setup... it has detachable arms so I used the base for the Samsung and it is working wonderfully. This means pretty much any name brand or highly rated single monitor mount should work fine for you.
I got one second hand, but it's 55" long and about 33" deep. My three 24" monitors fit on it. You can also find mounts that support for 3 monitors that have 1 leg that you attach to the desk, kind of like this
The individual monitors does not look like it can be moved up or down, but it looks like a very high quality product. I've been thinking about buying one for a while to go along with my future triple monitor setup lol. btw, is that mouse RGB? If so, what is it called?
EZM Deluxe Triple Monitor Mount Stand: Link
I found the angle of the two side monitors to be too shallow with this stand but I added 1 inch standoffs to the vesa mounts which gave me the angle I was looking for. I got the standoffs from Homedepot as well as longer metric screws to hold it. I've had that mount and those monitors for 5 years now. Not one issue.
Hey! Sorry for the late response. This is the mount I'm using
Currently, I'd say there's about 2-3 feet between the middle monitor and the corner of the wall. I DO have the tabled pulled out extra though, and could probably push it back a bit. But, since I'm still working on some cable management, it sits like this.
Also, 24" monitors are definitely a great choice for this set-up. Like I've said in my other posts, sometimes 3x27" is too much.
Maybe I'm missing it but is it just for one monitor or multiple?
I can recommend this one, have been using it for nearly 2 months now and I have no regrets. It takes a bit to get multiple monitors adjusted perfectly but once done it looks great.
Yeah, it was this mount.
It was solid metal. Super nice build quality. Since my desk is made of 2 slabs of wood biscuit jointed together, the back piece started to bend from the weight of the 25lbs mount and 3 monitors clamped onto one 3 inch square of the back of the wood.
I may try again but with a stand version instead soon. I want more room.
You can get a triple monitor stand like this one that has cable management built in.
you're making me nervous now, as I'm shopping for a triple monitor stand right now. which one do you have? I'm thinking about getting this one [link]
This is what I use, it's amazing. It's really sturdy and it hold the monitors perfectly. Adjusting it the first time can be a pain in the ass but once it's perfect you never have to touch it again.
Desk space isn't needed when you have this
But yes, I agree. This subreddit is pretty ridiculous/awesome. I think a lot of us bide the time until release by planning absurd setups, it's half the fun for me.
I'm using this mount. There are several different kinds, one has a clamp, one has a free-standing base etc. They're really solid, but your monitors have to be VESA compatible.
I have one of these from Amazon:
Fits my three ASUS PG278QR monitors with no problem.
yeah! here is the mount and it’s been great!
Here’s the Amazon link! I’ve had this for about 2 years now. Never had any issues.
One of the best purchases I've ever made. Solid as a rock and desk space is no longer an issue.
I have https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006JG7G2E/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 holding three 27in and it punched a hold in my desk stupid Ikea lol make sure you have a REAL solid desk
Something like this, dont remember the brand though
EZM Deluxe Triple Monitor Mount Stand Desktop Clamp Supports up to 3 28"(002-0019) [link]
I think they make a version that has a base on it
Here are my monitors on it.
Here's the link. Not sure if it'll get removed but oh well.
I have used this one and just dont use the center, the other two vesas slide wherever you want.
Triple stand - [link]
Extended Single Stand - [link]
I started with a double and worked my way up. All of the stands are essentially made by the same company and sold my different third parties.
They seem to work well.
The monitor stand? or the stand under the desk? link to both
I don't think it comes in a quad version, but this is my mount: [link]
I am using the Dell s2716DG and my mount is [link]
This is the monitor mount, but if you have a little more money i would look at something else. It does the job but just barely.
Its really solid, did a pretty good job.
Get a bigger desk, or get one of these:
I'm looking to get a VESA mount for my monitors, but haven't been able to find one that holds all three that I like. This is the closest I've found and the "wings" don't fold in sharply enough. Would it be easier to buy two dual mounts / one dual, one single? I looked at this one and this other one and they both seem decent.
My monitors are as follows: 24" (s2415h), 27" (27ud68), 24" (actually a small tv), where the 27" is my primary that I want in the center facing me directly. The two 24" monitors I'm looking to have off to the side, angled sharply toward me since I occasionally boot the playstations on them.
Additionally, I'm planning on putting some wood between the desk clamp and desk to try and spread out the weight of the stand. Good idea? Bad idea? Desk is most likely from Staples/Office Depot/one of those office supply stores, it's old and I don't remember the model.
Here you have mount.
Chair I would go for Ikea's Markus, it goes for $150 here.
I think they have two monitor mounts.
I'm using this mount which I find surprisingly sturdy for the price!
EZM deluxe triple monitor mount. Love it! Here is link [link]
It's this one but the joint in the right side is kind of loose, so if it is not up against the middle monitor it sags a bit. [link]
This one from Amazon. It's expensive, but I really recommend it.
They're on the back of the monitor mount. This mount has 1 large bar that goes on the back side.
Sorry for late reply! If you are still wondering it is the [link]
[link] this one worked for my 3x 27" Planar monitors. Cheap, well reconstructed, and sturdy.
Pretty sure it's this one.
I did a slight modification using some pipe, rubber washers, and longer screws to tighten up the curve [link]
It was posted higher up [link]
Yeah this stand would work great for 3 25", here is the link to the clamp style version incase you were interested.
I'm using this stand, though I've had some trouble with it.
After a lot of research, I decided on this: Deluxe Triple Monitor Stand Desktop Clamp Supports up to 3 28"(002-0019) [link]
I really like it. It's very solid and has great build quality. Totally worth it.
I ended up buying the following:
Deluxe Triple Monitor Stand Desktop Clamp Supports up to 3 28"(002-0019) [link]
Right there! I got it for 85 bucks, cheaper now. It works perfectly
Get monitor stand that holds up all 3 monitors. Sounds like money is not really an issue, something like this would clear up a lot of the clutter.
I did. I went with this one: Deluxe Triple Monitor Stand Desktop Clamp Supports up to 3 28"(002-0019) [link] it gets here Tuesday. I'll post a picture then.
Case? I'm not sure what you're talking about, but you probably want a triple monitor mount. This is a good one.
My favorites for a multi monitor setup are the thin-bezeled Dells. The Dell U2414 is good choice.
Before you buy all that you've gotta make sure your video card has all the right outputs to match the monitors.
They are all the same monitor: Acer G276HL. But I am using a monitor stand:[link]
Edit: link for monitor: [link]
This thing. It's beefy tho, with the monitors it weighs about 50 lbs. You need a fairly sturdy desk to mount it.
this is a triple monitor arm, but it supports my 34" and 24" monitors and is the cheapest option I found. I like it because I can horizontally adjust the second monitor to wherever I want. I bought an amazon basics vesa laptop stand to use on the third arm. picture of my setup. Cables go down through the main tube for a clean setup!
My own multimonitor setup is very ghetto, meaning I don't use mounts, but I've found something here:
Can't speak for its quality or ease of use.
guessing it was this mount? [link] was thinking of picking it up as well.
