I want the mask mandate to be lifted so bad for gyms at least. In the meantime, I just purchased these and they have been life changing to be able to wear them while working out at the gym. Hope this helps! :)

I had mine done at the beginning of April and found these on Amazon and they are great! They keep your mask off the piercing directly. Apparently you can "hook" them in, but I just place them directly under a cloth mask and they work just fine and stay in place.

Have you tried one of these? Might be beneficial in your case

I use a plastic bracket like these to keep the mask off my face.

I forget I have it on. I have one of these little plastic spacers so it doesn't sit directly on my face and one of these doodads to keep the strings off my ears. I wear one for 8+ hrs straight at my very physical job and with my little gadget squad keeps me from even noticing.
