Buy this and use it when u need it to not work.
Other than that, can't advise much other than a paper route and pay for your own phone.
I purchased a Faraday Bag (RFID Signal Blocking Bag Shielding Pouch for Cell Phone Tracking Protection) for this exact reason. I have tested it out with different family members phones and it does block any signal or tracking of a phone.
I will make every reasonable effort to return a phone, keys or other item carelessly left by a rider in my car. However, I will do it on my terms when I am back in that area of town unless the rider provides financial compensation to drop everything and drive to them.

Not generally concerned with GPS, But thats a good experiment. I'll have to try that one. Generally, those materials block ranges that encompasses all the bands for Bluetooth, cellular, wifi, and rfid. I would NOT be shocked if GPS is likewise blocked.
Not if you want to use your phone. A Faraday bag for your phone will block any signals to/from it. Similar to this on amazon.
The pouch works to block the signal from going beyond that point in the pouch. I bought this and tried it with the key inside I could not signal the car to unlock even though I was right next to it. It works great.

Another thing I think people need to know is that "deleting" these recordings is likely not removing them from the manufacturer's servers--it just hides them from you. That data is still out there, and it could become public in an instant due to data breach, data mishandling, a rogue employee, during police/govt. investigations, etc.
You can get these Nope Sound Blockers for times when you need to have a private conversation. They do break kinda easy if you're not gentle enough, but they work super well and the company has great customer support. I'm also unsure if they work with Google Home/Amazon Echo, but if they do, they could be good to have around.
The best option, though, is to not have one of these at home--or at least unplug them outside of planned use hours and toss them in a little faraday bag. That way they will be cut off from internet connection of any kind until you take it out and plug it back in.
Time to buy a Faraday bag
They are called Signal boosters if you are in an area that has High crime get a Faraday case.
Amazon has them I bought these.
On your phone? That would be pretty stupid, because then you got no internet or connection at all..
But you can buy a RF bag that close the connection from your phone when its in that bag.

I guess you can buy em for computers also. Not sure.
I have thought of getting a Faraday Bag (RFID Signal Blocking Bag Shielding Pouch for Cell Phone Tracking Protection) for this exact reason
And if you get this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HETGX00/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 you don't have to go through the process of turning off keyless entry.
Get a pouch that blocks RF (radio Frequency) and put the secondary keyfob in the pouch.

Many cars don’t like having both keyfobs in the car.
I personally use this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HETGX00
There's tons of them on Amazon, emaple: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HETGX00/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Sn7qBbHT2ZFA3
Get one of those metallic bags that block radio signals. like this one
as long as it's not in the proximity of it giving a signal to amplify, it's fine. In the video, the mesh faraday cage was the best, it was just ugly looking.
The box is just for quick access as opposed to opening and closing. Also, you know you're fully encasing the keyfob. With just foil, you might have leakage if you don't fully cover it (it was shown in the video with the copper mesh top not being close). And you don't even need a box or foil, the tin cans worked great. You can also use ESD-Safe bags or mylar food bags (you see this in the movie Enemy of the State when he puts the transmitted in the potato chip bag. It's a faraday cage and its important to know he rolls it up to ensure there's no leakage). They esd/mylar bags are great if you're paranoid about bump clone, but after a while they don't work as well due to creases
There's more than one way to skin this cat.
lol sorry that was on my phone when I typed it auto spell check.
Farren cage wallet was what I meant I have one for the other 2 fobs for my Mazda 3 it does not allow signal's out when you close the wallet up so they cannot copy your keys signal that it is broadcasting.

I'd recommend getting a Faraday bag and keeping the phone in it the whole time you are there.
You can find them pretty cheap on Amazon: link
