I bought this dishwasher back in August 2020. I love it. It's perfect for a single person, I can typically fit an entire day's worth of dishes in there.
If I do cook, I will need to run multiple loads if I am washing pots/pans (depending on the size). That part ought to be obvious given the size of the dishwasher.
I suppose it's quiet? I honestly don't hear it from the other room (but then all of the devices manufacturers are pushing to make "quiet" never had a noise level that bothered me in the first place).
My only real complaint: If you do multiple loads in a row, you have to turn on the air drying mechanism. It enters into a weird Schrodinger's state after a load, and the light for it will blink. You have to turn that mechanism off and then on again. I would prefer for the air refresh would either recognize the door opened, and thus turned itself fully off.
I have this dishwasher on an old microwave cart next to the kitchen sink. It easily drains into the sink with the tube provided, and since it's right by the sink, I don't have to carry the jug of water very far to fill the dishwasher's tank (note: You could also hook this up to the sink to be filled as well... I did not).
I have this model and can personally vouch for how nice it is (I have it set next to my sink so it drains right into it), but there are definitely cheaper options.
i had the same issues and internal debate over whether a countertop dishwasher was worth it (especially since i have very limited counter space) but honestly the dishes were just not getting done no matter what i did so i caved and bought one. and it has absolutely been worth every penny and more!! like it’s literally priceless for me. this is the one i got and i love it (though i got it for half the price, i’m sure you could find it somewhere else or something similar for cheaper)
i honestly really think it’s worth it to save up for one, you know yourself best and if it’s not gonna get done without a dishwasher the best solution may just have to be a dishwasher
I have this one and it’s awesome. I bought one off mercari for like half the price though.
Hahaha, yup! This is the exact one that I got, and I can tell you that my only regret is not getting it sooner. What finally got me to buy it was a review that described it as "the ultimate depression buster," which immediately made sense to me. It has indeed lived up to that description. So if you end up getting one as well, then I hope your experience is similar!
This is the only one I’ve come across with a tank. Not a huge capacity, and I don’t have any personal experience with it, but worth looking into: Farberware FDW05ASBWHA Complete Portable Countertop Dishwasher
That’s precious storage space. A small countertop unit that you can stow. If you must have a DW.

I use this in my apartment right now but plan on putting it in my van. It’s a countertop dish washer but it has its own tank so you can fill it up with 5L or water or connect it to a faucet. I fill mine with water each time and have it drain in the sink. Super super easy. And I plan on only using it when plugged into shore power
This is the one that I got from Amazon, you may be able to find it in other stores:

Pro: It doesn't need a water hookup, so you can have this running even in the bathroom as long as you can put the drain to go on any sink you have.
Con: Its tiny. Not recommended for families. But good for singles and couples that don't cook a ton. Huge pans won't fit in it, but regular cups and plates will.
I have this running regularly. Not sure what the final electricity bill will be since I only recently bought it but so far so good.

I use this one:

It's small, so sometimes I have to run it several times (when I can't load it for a few days), but since I live by myself, it's not really a problem. I'm pretty happy with it.
Embarrassingly, I haven't yet unpacked it (have been overwhelmed with other things). So I can't speak to its quality. BUT i did a ton of research before purchasing, and got this one:
you can also research these types of dishwashers in general by using search words like "countertop dishwasher with built in water tank."
