16:8 is generally known as a good starting point, but not as conducive to weight loss. I started 2.3.20 and have lost ~15lbs. Still slow losing, but I know I need to cut down on sugar. Have you read this book? If not I highly recommend it + the FB support groupFast Feast Repeat
I like Fast, Feast, Repeat by Gin Stephens (I got the audiobook). It focuses on IF as a lifestyle, and lays out the various plans. No recipes or meal plans included.

She has another book (Delay, Don’t Deny!) that’s heavily referenced in this book so in my opinion, you don’t need to read both necessarily but I love research haha so I did. What worked best for me with a toddler was being flexible with my hours and listening to my body. I didn’t necessarily do a strict fast every single day (not everyone does) and when I did, sometimes I did 16/8, 18/6, 14/10, etc. i just really started listening to my body better to know what would be good for that day. I’m currently pregnant so I have stopped for now and my boredom eating has SKY ROCKETED. Like I’m very early and already gaining more than I should hahaha I’ll have my work cut out for me again in the future but oh well 😂
I can highly recommend this book. I read it last week and so far it's worked just like she said it would. Gin Stephens is the author and she lost 80lb's using ADF. She talks all about the research and how it works.
I would recommend reading this book. Explains it well and gives you a good plan with different options. Try out what works for you.
