FastSnail Controller Converter for Nintendo Switch, Makes PS3/PS4 Dualshock/Xbox ONE Controllers Compatible with Your Switch, Support Vibration, with Type-C OTG Cable [link]
This is what I'll do and use my Xbox one controller
I use this and it works
The specific one I got isn't listed anymore. I think they might've replaced it with a newer model. This one looks identical though and it's the same price I paid for mine. I don't think it matters if it's an Xbox One or One S controller: [link]
I have not tried it personally, but there are solutions like a dongle with a wired xbox 360 controller:
This would be the dongle:
But I don't know if you can use 3rd party controllers with that.
That's the one I picked up for switch. Like I said, I haven't played any fighting games on it yet, but it's worked great for Fire Emblem Warriors and Mario.
I don't have it, just saw this while browsing on Amazon. Here is a link to the item.
I also use the Elite controller and utilize the paddles on the back, which is the #1 reason I've yet to buy the Switch.
Have you looked into anything like this? (This may be a solution for those of us who want to use another controller)
You can change the controls, just like in the other versions. You can also get a pro controller (expensive though, like $80). There's also this thing, but I'm not sure if that increases input lag.
I got something called a fastsnail adapter on Amazon and I can now use either a wired PS4 or XB controller. Works fairly well too. The problem isn't solely the joycons though. Even on 360 controller I can't half flip on the Switch, whereas it's easy on PC/Xbox.
Found this on a quick Amazon search.
I love the DS4 so this would definitely do the trick for me. Has anyone tried this? Amazon reviews seem good.
Think this is a good time to plug the American version on Amazon.
Allows you to use Xbox one, 360, Ps3 and Ps4 controllers on the Switch.
I'm currently using it with an Xbox One controller and it's amazing.
That video that got linked to you is a very bad way to do it. This works better (no issue with joystick) and is cheaper [link]
That D-pad looks pretty horrific. For a player 2 controller, I'd go with this adapter assuming you have an Xbox 360/One or Dual Shock controller. I got mine today and it's excellent. The only real downside is there's no gyro features, which is expected.
Thank China for entering the grey-area and making incredible adapters like these
Yes it's true and you need a adapter. I use thisone to play with a xbox 360 controller and a logitech F710 and its work perfectly. Its plug and play. I know there is other adapter too but never try them.
I'm using the Coov N100 adapter (not the Pro, which is wireless)
You can buy an adapter to use your Xbox or ps4 controllers!
> Or at least, the inability to rebind them.
Requires Windows 10 to rebind the keys on the controller. I use an Elite controller, but it is suppose to be possible on the base controller as well. Or any PC controller that stores the keybinding in the firmware on the controller should work with the adapter in the first link.
I don't think there's a single device that will work with Switch and PS4/Xbox, you'll need a separate adapter depending on which console you're using.
Yeah. Just need to use a USB adapter.
I use this one personally. Just had to update the firmware and tell the Switch to use the Pro Controller USB function.
In that case, maybe look into something like this.
there's also this one. wonder which one's better
If you have another gaming console check this.
Personally using it with an Xbox one controller and I love it.
Im not sure how fast it will be since i got it while it was out of stock. It is prime though [link]
Get one of these and use a PS4 controller?
