Yeah a random quote mined from wikipedia, that sounds reliable.
I know books are, compared to wikipedia, very unreliable, but being that that's all I can access, consider reading Noam Chomsky's The Fateful Triangle: "The armies of the Arab states entered the war immediately after the State of Israel was founded in May. <strong>Fighting continued, almost all of it within the territory assigned to the Palestinian state...About 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled in the 1948 conflict."</strong>
>That said, I firmly believe that if you support Palestine in any way, you are as bad as a terrorist.
Hahaha..oh ok thanks for that totally nonbiased report.
Why on earth would the Palestinians accept a Jewish state?? There were hardly any Jews in Palestine 20 years earlier, only small scattered integrated communities.
Your comments defy reason and frankly that last sentence was incredibly stupid.
I'll let Norman Finkelstein explain to you what you clearly do not know:

And this "history" lesson is terrible. It glosses over the British Mandate period and doesn't mention at all the politics behind the English betrayal of the Arab revolt. It also doesn't mention the French invasion and the Battle of Maysaloun after Feysal refused to hand Greater Syria to them. It doesn't mention the amount of Jews in Palestine prior to the waves of immigration. It doesn't mention the history of attacks between the Irgun and others. It doesn't mention how the land was acquired from the Palestinians.
All it tells us is that Israel accepted an offer of a two-state solution and Palestine did not. If that's what is accepted as a history lesson these days then let me tell you this is garbage.
Read a Chomsky book instead.
