rispetto al cumulus 450 mi sembra comparabile. Il tessuto del cumulus però non capisco se sia anch'esso idrorepellente...

Oh I see but I still say that for most temperatures it's fine personally. I toss and turn a good amount and just like my comforter at home (that doesn't have straps), I'm perfectly comfortable.
The technique I was mentioning is really only for super cold temps. For me, if I'm really cold, I don't actually toss and turn as much. But if you're turning every ten minutes then yeah straps are certainly going to be more convenient than this method.
I was initially responding to how it would be counterintuitive to add a neck cinch cord to this quilt. If it's so cold you're cinching the neck then it's probably cold enough to warrant a hat or head cover which this quilt already has built into the weight. It seems kinda pointless to bring this quilt with special features and then just not use them when you could get a similar quilt that actually has pad straps and a cinch neck for the same price that's half a pound lighter.
I could see just adding pad straps but if you're gonna do both you might as well get an EE enigma or revelation with similar fill for 20-22 ounces. I know you said the nitro quilt is wide but if you're 6'2" and tossing and turning that much you will probably need a Wide and definitely Long. If you got a stock revelation in long/wide during their sale it would have been like $250 which is close to an on sale nitro quilt. Once you add pad clips and a cinch neck the nitro quilt is probably pushing 29 or more ounces depending on your expertise. So for the same price you could just get a lighter quilt and not have to DIY anything. The cottage quilts are probably a little higher quality, the down on my nitro quilt has some patches where there's no down.
If I were you personally and don't like the head hole and turn that much and want pad straps I'd just get an enlightened equipment/ugq/hammock gear/etc. quilt for similar price and way lighther. Idk who still has sales but you could probably watch the garage/cosmetic blemish options and get one at a good price. Or for a lot less you could get something like this Amazon one which has straps and a cinch neck too and is also 27 ounces at long/wide like the nitro quilt
