I cant imagine how someone can get bored with cinema, either exploring it or doing it.
The number of filmmaking styles, the number of ways you can approach cinema is literally..
..INFINITE.
If you were into horror you could do anything from Sam Raimi style kinetic camerawork with a camp vibe (what I try to do) to naturalistic/realistic stuff like Wolf Creek to expressionist candy colored lighting like Argento, I mean geez thats barely scratching the surface.
Get a good book on film history and dive into different directors and genres and styles and then try to shake up your style and try something new.
I read this on the subway and every day I discover something exciting that feeds my passion for cinema. I try to learn about a new director and/or a new style/genre every day:
