The hardcover is already #1 Bestseller on Amazon on pre-orders alone. Guess that's one number one spot Trump won't be too proud of.
this was in "Fire and Fury". From a NY Post write up:
“In pursuing a friend’s wife, he would try to persuade the wife that her husband was perhaps not what she thought,” author Michael Wolff quotes a Trump friend as saying.
Before he was president, Trump would have his secretary ask the friend to drop by his office, where he would subject him to “more or less constant sexual banter,” according to “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” a copy of which was obtained by The Post.
With the wife listening in on speakerphone, Trump would say: “Do you still like having sex with your wife? How often? You must have had a better f–k than your wife? Tell me about it.
“I have girls coming in from Los Angeles at three o’clock. We can go upstairs and have a great time. I promise.”
Yeah, this sounds an awful lot like "The jig is up, defend daddy" mode.
Bannon didn't even write this book, you know that, right?
Daddy fucking let a guy follow his team around for over a year and they all spilled the beans.
> This story is adapted from Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, to be published by Henry Holt & Co. on January 9. Wolff, who chronicles the administration from Election Day to this past October, conducted conversations and interviews over a period of 18 months with the president, most members of his senior staff, and many people to whom they in turn spoke. Shortly after Trump’s inauguration, Wolff says, he was able to take up “something like a semi-permanent seat on a couch in the West Wing” — an idea encouraged by the president himself. Because no one was in a position to either officially approve or formally deny such access, Wolff became “more a constant interloper than an invited guest.” There were no ground rules placed on his access, and he was required to make no promises about how he would report on what he witnessed.
Amazon has it tagged as a best seller: Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
I see “This title will be released on January 5, 2018.” on the Amazon page My pre order says:
> We’ll ship your order as soon as possible
> This usually happens when an item doesn’t have a release date, it’s pre-ordered, or it’s out of stock.
>He also gave a positive review of The Last Jedi, with his making clear his radical leftist viewpoints by adhering to the view that revolutions entail, among other things, the oppressed overthrowing the oppressor.
Yes that is how revolutions are usually supposed to go.
>Ironically, his far-leftism was such that he actually got ridiculed when he tweeted that he had bought the Worst Liberal Book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by Michael Wolff, a book that even other leftists denounced as tabloid-standard.
Nothing that you've said so far has been true or accurate, so I want to clear all of this up. A publisher is liable if they lie. If a source lies, that's on the source. The publisher is not liable for that. If what you said is true, then yellow journalism couldn't exist, yet it does. What counts has a source? Somebody saying something. That's about it.
Would you like a true to life example of what I'm talking about? There was a book published in 2018 called Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff. At the time of its publishing, it claimed to be an eye witness account of the goings-on in the Trump White House. That book is absolute, total, and complete fiction from cover to cover and provably so. None of it is true. And it even reads like bullshit. There are stunningly outlandish claims of criminal events taking place that are obviously untrue and never happened. Yet it presents itself as 100% true to life. Because it was presented as true, it became a number one best seller literally overnight. It's even listed as non fiction.
Where were the lawsuits over that book? Where is the fear of liability from the publisher? They can't be too afraid considering you can buy it on Amazon right now. It's even an editor's pick! Not every injury deserves a lawsuit and not every lawsuit is desired.
I read it in Michael Wolff's Trump book - Fire And Fury from 2018. As far as I know he was successful and got what he was after.
I'm not a tax lawyer, so if the other guy has some additional knowledge on this then he might be right.
>Im waiting for a Trump supporter to give me a good explanation on why super genius Trump sought out the guy who took out Nixon and basically confessed all his shortcomings as President on tape for a book.
And it's not the first time he does that, either. It's almost like everyone is allowed in the inner circle without anyone doing the smallest of cursory Google searches.

The book will be a record best seller now.
Don't these idiots realize if you try to ban something then people will buy it?
The conspiracy theory was that the left operates a hidden shadow government that abuses connections and hidden dealings to undermine Trump.
The truth was that Trump's hand-picked advisers work around him, because they know he is mentally incompetent and can't be trusted to govern the country.
>Meetings with him veer off topic and off the rails, he engages in repetitive rants, and his impulsiveness results in half-baked, ill-informed and occasionally reckless decisions that have to be walked back.
> Some of his aides have been cast as villains by the media. But in private, they have gone to great lengths to keep bad decisions contained to the West Wing, though they are clearly not always successful.
>It may be cold comfort in this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room.
And the sad thing is, this is near universally held opinion in the West Wing and among those close to Trump:
The White House staff honestly believe the President is mentally incompetent. This undermines the key attribute of the conspiracy theory: the assignment of moral good or positive worth to Trump.
The conspiracy is that entrenched bureaucrats are fighting against 'the hero' Donald Trump taking back the White House for the common people. The truth is that momentary contact with Trump is enough to convince the new wave of Trump-appointed Republicans to do whatever they can to prevent him from having the power to exercise his whims.
This is not the result of entrenched operatives fighting back against the a heroic crusader. This is what happens when political allies believe the President is not capable but the 25th Amendment would be too politically damaging. And the Op-Ed openly admits as much. This is end result of electing an incapable President.
It's based on a Book that comes out next week.
In case anyone wants to tip Wolff for his efforts - 20 bucks
