It's a wool felt desk mat from Amazon. It's not a gaming desk mat so I wouldn't recommend it for people who want to game. If you're playing a competitive game then you would probably want something your hand can glide smoothly with. It's more of a coaster + desk mat combined that gives a soft surface for when you're working/being productive.

For $13 I feel it's quite good.

I bought it back in March, you can see it here, I haven't noticed any wear where the mouse is.

It's got a rubber grippy surface on the bottom that stops it from being easily moved.

The desk I built custom with a local builder in my area. The desk mat you can grab on amazon here, although I will say you can get the same kind of mat - but way nicer quality from a company called Grovemade. In hindsight I probably woulda spent a little extra cash and grabbed theirs instead of the one I have.
