I bought these since I didnt want to spend the money and quite honestly.. They arent too bad. Once you set the mirrors and tighten them up so they don't move, they add the angle to see behind your camper. Definitely helped with lane changes on my 1800 mile trip two werks ago: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DNPD514?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I don't know if this is helpful to you, but I tow a 24' travel trailer and 19' boat with my 2017 F150 SCREW cab, and found these ZAP Tow Mirrors do a really nice job of getting me the visibility I needed.

This is definitely not as nice or comprehensive of a solution as better permanent mirrors, but they work and fit great.
Someone on here recommend these. Worked great
I've been using these bad boys: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DNPD514/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Not as nice as your option, but much cheaper and they work great; no paint contact either.
