Your solution is under the weight limit so you should be fine but I was in a similar situation and was concerned about placing my 75" TV on my console bc it is made of engineered wood, too, which is susceptible to warping and weakening over time. It may be too late now that you've already purchased a TV stand, but it looks like your current console has some clearance at the bottom, in which case this might work. I didn't want to sit my 75" tv nor hang it from the wall and this was my solution. You can bump into the console without worrying about knocking the tv over while still being able to swivel it, so I was happy with the outcome.
Temporary lol. Idk old plaster walls here w/ wooden lath. I need to hit studs which are inconviently spaced requiring a custom bracket to get the TV where I want. But, this stand is alright, right? Super solid and adjustable. Far superior to what I expected having been so cheap.
Thanks!
The LG CX is undoubtedly the best value in gaming displays right now. I couldn't recommend it enough.
I'm glad you mentioned the stand. I was originally going to wall mount, but decided that I'd rather have a stand that could easily be repositioned and repurposed if necessary. Plus it makes it easier to conceal wires and I didn't want to have to punch and drill into the wall.
This is what I went with - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BFT2TVS
They also have it without the shelf. It is really stable and disappears in my all black living room.
