Really hard to see everything with those 2 pics. There's a lot of smart people on here that might have creative ideas.
Also seeing how it's a basement, how set are the walls currently in place? Might open other possibilities.
Also getting a shorter TV stand and using something like this might give you the clearance you need for a center channel.

I got the same TV this year and I spent ages trying to find a good looking table stand since I needed the height of the TV to go up(44 inches floor to center of TV), but didn't have a wall to mount on. Ended up with this one per some reddit threads and it's been solid.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Why not look at replacing the OEM stand with a universal one. I use something virtually identical to this for my X950G. I prefer it to the original stand because the TV doesn't lean back like it does with the regular stand. Also fits on pretty much any entertainment unit no problem.
I have one holding an 85" Samsung QN90A (This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CORQRX0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ).
It is sturdy. Just make sure to take your time and have a patient helper. Take lots of measurements when assembling to make sure it is the height you want it before mounting. This will save you the hassle of having to take it down again and adjusting. I got lucky and cleared my center speaker by 1/2 an inch on my first try.
Amazon has some good stands that would support a TV that large. We used this one for our 75" TV in a similar situation and it's worked really well. Even with cats occasionally nudging the TV it is solid and we've never worried about it getting knocked over.
OP could maybe get rid of that middle shelf in the TV stand, put the center on top of the TV stand, and get a mount to raise the TV above the center. This would give both the center channel and the AVR breathing room.

I used this for awhile before I wall mounted, it’s Is my recommendation.
It depends how much weight your table can hold too
So far I have seen a Sanus Universal TV Stand that supports that size. It's usually up to 70 inches
I did come across this as well but I don't know this brand at all

Maybe wall mounting might be the solution. The pro is u will have space on the table for a soundbar or whatever
What about table top stands like you find on Amazon? Just search for "85" TV table top stand" and there are a number of options that accommodate 85" TV's. I'm using THIS one for a 75" and it works great.
I reccomend a TV stand which allows you to raise the TV and put things under it. I have an Infinity center under a 70" TV. And the center is huge. I'll link the stand I have.
If your couch back leans a lot it could be more comfortable higher up. Generally though you want the TV to be straight level with your eye height. But also consider the height of any others who may be watching the TV with you as well. You could get one of these TV stands to try out different heights and see what you like best.

I would assume this would work but definitely verify first
No worries, also I have the same stand that you listed in your post holding up an 80lb Pioneer Plasma. I did find the same/similar stand that the other user noted, but in the Canadian store.
They make tv stands similar to what comes with the tv that raise it up more. Something like this but I have no clue if that one would work best just the first one that popped up.
I ordered this yesterday. Should be here tomorrow.

Don't have one, but have recommended these in the past, & their reviews seem quite solid for Amazon reviews & are consistent across the brand. Will purchase one myself upon TV upgrade in the future.
Like this? Are they as dependable? Is there any reason not to want the tv to hang over the dresser?

I ran into the same problem with my 77” C9, I purchased the Sonos Arc soundbar and need to raise the tv in order to position correctly, I like my current tv stand so I purchased this from Amazon, it arrives on Wednesday, maybe this could work for you?

I have this one for my 75" tv. Works well.
Something like this is what you’re looking for.
I would say either:
This: FITUEYES Universal TV Stand: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_Gu5xFbEZ8CK1J
Or something similar.
The following should work and is only 15" deep.
https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0/
I use a similar stand, though smaller, on my 65" and its been rock solid for 2+ years.
I'm on the same boat as you, took advantage of the TotalTech price for the 77" G2 (it's on now!) and got it over the 77" C2 for a couple bucks more.
I ended up getting this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CORQRX0/ Tried looking for that SANUS VSTV2, but doesn't seem like it's available anywhere.
buy a table top stand like I did
I have this. It is bigger than what you have now, and works great: https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2H897GC87OVSY&keywords=85+inch+tv+pedestal+stand+fit+u+eyes&qid=1660761425&sprefix=85+inch+tv+pedestal+stand+fit+u+eyes%2Caps%2C60&am...
This is something new from the same company: https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Artistic-Adjustable-Management/dp/B096R5RF97/ref=sr_1_15?crid=1ABQ77YRIK7S1&keywords=85+inch+tv+pedestal+stand&qid=1660761402&sprefix=85%22+tv+stand+pe%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-15&ufe=app_do%3Aa...
This one goes up to 85" and 143lbs.
https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0
I would go with the FITUEYES stand. I have a very similar PERLESMITH stand for my 65" and its been great. Solid, looks great and my favourite feature is that the TV no longer leans back like it does on the OEM legs. My TV stand is wide enough for the original legs but I prefer the universal stand.
This works great for me.

Hey everyone,
My SO and I recently signed a lease for our first place together, a two bedroom townhome. I'm going to finally be able to set up my first proper 5.0 home theater, and I'd love some feedback on my plan.
As seen in the first picture, the living room is 13' x 21' with a vaulted ceiling. It has two openings to the kitchen, an opening to the hallway, and a large, north-facing window that has both blinds and shades (so no light concerns there).
Some notes:
I'm not looking to do any drilling into the wall.
One thing that's very important to me is having a MLP/MVP that myself and my SO can share - I think I've achieved that well with the layout I have shown.
I don't want a subwoofer because I'm sharing a wall.
The only window in the kitchen is also north-facing, so it would not be directly behind the TV with this setup.
Here's the gear that I already have:
Jamo S 809 Fronts, S 83 Center, S803 Surrounds
Ikea Besta 70" L x 25" H TV stand
Denon S650H Receiver
Panasonic UB820 UHD Blu-Ray Player
And here's the gear that I plan to buy & have shown in the renderings:
77" Sony A80J
TV Stand to raise the TV above the center channel (not shown in rendering)
Monoprice Monolith 32" Speaker Stands (for surrounds)
The chair, end tables, and coffee table are all sort of just placeholders, but any feedback on that layout is welcome as well.
The TV is admittedly slightly higher than I'd like with this setup, but not egregious IMO. I've calculated the viewing height to be ~8" above the bottom of the TV, and ~11" below the center of the TV.
With all this being said, does my plan check out? The speaker positioning seems to be pretty solid for the space and no-wall-drilling constraints that I have. I like that I have a specific MLP/MVP with enough space for two people to kick their feet up together. Nothing is set in stone though, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know!
I've done some research on this, I am going with this mount from Amazon.
Exact same use case as you, this is what I use I raised my tv a bit and now my center channel fits it because I could not mount my tv FITUEYES Universal TV Stand/Base... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Its a 75" tv mounted on this one: https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0
Or dump the legs and get something like this:
I may have found one decent option... will test it out. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01CORQRX0/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=A2T4RI5JPP2USG&psc=1
Something like this could work for < $100.

You'll need an aftermarket TV stand mount to do this with new TV's.
https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0/
I use this one. Allows my 65" TV to clear an 11" speaker.
I was using something like this for a while.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_SDYR45SQMQXHKRGTPQDJ
That way you can use a much smaller tv stand.
Agreed. This is what I am planning to get: Amazon FITUEYES Universal TV Stand, Holds up to 143 lbs Screen. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_55G1DCDSN7RKYQ3R2R9M
I have the 75" and the legs are like boomerangs, too wide for my tv stand.
Ended up buying this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01CORQRX0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PHvaGb46NBZKK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’d raise the tv and put a decent center speaker on top of console. Wall mount it or

This is the stand that the op bought but it's out of stock https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0
Thanks Listonosh!
I am getting the same 85" TV (Sony 85X900H) delivered soon and also ordered the same Fitueyes stand.

1) Any update / issues since you mounted it?
2) I noticed that Fitueyes site says "up to 80" whereas Amazon says "up to 85". Weight is not a concern of course (since it holds 143 lbs), but was wondering if small 400x400 VESA has something to do with it? Or are they worried people with older heavier 85" TVs might be over the 143 lb limit?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CORQRX0
I tried something similar to that and it didn’t feel secure. Here is what I ultimately ordered and worked for me
This is a non DIY option. I have one like it on my 65" and I like it.
This is what I have. Not necessarily a cheap option but it fit my needs.
For larger screens I found this well reviewed stand at Amazon as well

I am not sure this is what you have in mind, but I heard it will work good with an 85" TV:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_fab_nupGFbYX2430N
The stand looks great, but the vertical brackets do extend about 3” below the base of TV. This is do to the LG CX main body being so low on the back of the display. No way to avoid this. Possible to cut the bottom of the brackets, I suppose, but I have now considered using the extra length as a possible mount for the Sonos Arc sound bar.
Table top tv mount
https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0
On a low console 👍
All the ones I had seen on Amazon weren’t tall enough. /u/SmittyJonz posted this thing https://www.amazon.com/FITUEYES-Universal-Swivel-Adjustable-FTT107003GB/dp/B01CORQRX0 which certainly isn’t cheap. If everything else was perfect then fine, I’ll pay it, but I’m reassessing everything and I just don’t know if the black wood is too much even if the coffee table is replaced (couch will be replaced with light grey, drapes will be replaced too): https://i.imgur.com/9NI6pgy.jpg
Thank you for your reply.
Sure! I've uploaded some pics. My TV and stand have not been delivered yet, but the setup will be the same.
I guess the only thing I'm wondering is what you would typically recommend for what distances, and which would look better between farther-from-wall with a single horizontal strip VS closer-to-wall with 3-4 sided.
The Mk2 sounds great and I will definitely hold out for it. Just curious, are there any negatives to upping the CRI? From my understanding that would only be a benefit. Thanks again!
These savings aren't just Black and White.

Personally, I like this stand since it might get the TV high enough to clear the center, or at least allow you to put something additional underneath to lift high enough:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CORQRX0
I have this mount and on echogear.com you can use the "Mountfinder" and this comes up for your TV:
https://www.amazon.com/ECHOGEAR-Articulating-Bracket-Screens-patterns/dp/B00VMJEK2C
If you wall mount then the center channel can sit on top of the media stand.
That's all I can think of for now...good luck!
