> I wouldn't mind one of those without it being covered in weeb.
Here you go.
They are sold under the name "Body Pillow" & contain not even a trace of weeb.
This so much.
Also, I don't know if you already have one or whatever, but what really helped my wife when she was pregnant was sleeping with a body pillow. If your wife doesn't have one already, get her one. She'll see that you two are soulmates. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Snuggle-Pedic-Ultra-Luxury-Combination-Breathable-Hypoallergenic/dp/B011U1LIK8/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_201_bs_tr_t_1/134-5846794-1290169?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1D0S5MS6P97NFQ2WY3ZY
I ordered this inner pillow (when it was avalable and it was around $80 USD), and ordered the custom pillow case here (NSFW) which with shipping ended up being around $90 USD. I had to wait almost two months for the cover due to the printing process and shipping. Just got it today actually!
So grand total is about $170 USD, but that doesn't include the couple hours I spent designing it and figuring out what dimensions it had to be

I will probably buy one next month in case they change the shell fabric again (RIP combination development)
XMR is expensive to transact with, and much much more complicated to use. Dash is relatively more simple and cheaper to use but then the privacy is not as good. Further just because we don't see benefit in something doesn't mean the market won't find utility in it.
Have you ever seen an item on amazon that you thought was just so fucking stupid? https://www.amazon.com/Boyfriend-Pillow-Husband-Companion-Benefits/dp/B0046GK1AI
This is something we would not need, we couldn't imagine anyone seriously spending 40 bucks on this, but unicorn smasher estimates they are making 2k in sales a week for something that probably costs $5 to make. The market is a complex, moving and indescernable force of emergent phenomena. Just because you don't see a use or niche for dash, or that i can't define a solid use case, doesn't mean that it won't find and fill some void or need in the market.

For the pillow, recently Amazon jp has added international shipping for the 6000 https://www.amazon.co.jp/抱き枕本体-Jオリジナル-DHR6000-ハイクラス-160cm×50cm/dp/B00CFG0B3I From what I hear it is cheaper than going through proxy.
Hello all! First reddit post here~ I just had some question(s) regarding inner pillows:
I bought a couple of covers on Amiami and was planning on buying either the DHR6000 or CMD9000 on Amazon JP, but I completely overlooked the fact these items can't be shipped to the U.S. I was looking at the alternatives of getting it through forwarding or proxy services, but I'd rather not have to go through all that extra hassle. >< I did see that the DHR6000 and CMD9000 are on Amazon US as well. But from what I read on here, these are resellers and that they cost a bit more. If price weren't a factor for me, would it be ok to buy the inner pillows from Amazon US resellers? I guess legitimacy is the main concern for me and more just making sure that I'm getting the right product.
Links for reference: DHR6000 https://www.amazon.com/Dakimakura-body-pillow-original-DHR6000/dp/B00CFG0B3I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1513668686&sr=8-1&keywords=DHR6000
I don't have this specific brand but shredded memory foam pillows are the best. I have a Snuggle-Pedic Shredded Memory Foam Body Pillow and it's the only pillow I've used for longer than 6 months. The difference is that a shredded memory foam pillow naturally contours your head and neck but also can be fluffed together and tall for side sleeping.
I shelled out and got the Snuggle-pedicbecause it was huge & had good memory foam & is made in the USA. My doctor said if I was having pain in my legs & hips to get a good body pillow and it worked, now I just have a hard time maneuvering when I get up to go pee in the night. I previously just used a knee pillow and that didn’t do the trick. But it’s great for resting/naps. I have never used a pregnancy pillow bc my doctor wasn’t too keen on them. They don’t give a lot of support. But if other people have used them and found success with them, by all means listen to everyone.
NTA
He can put up with it in special circumstances. He's just being a petty jerk.
Get a body pillow that he can cuddle until you get to bed for those few! nights a year when you're not up to going to bed early. And Amazon sells covers for those, you can personalize with custom photos.
I’ve been happy with this so far! I am almost 24 weeks and have been using it since about week 10. Leachco Back 'N Belly Pregnancy/Maternity Contoured Body Pillow, Ivory https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002E7DIQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_yZncGbFPBGMY9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
First off, welcome to the hobby!
The vast majority of cases you'll find on amazon are bootlegs. amazon.jp apparently ships the DHR 6000 internationally now, but other than that most of the actual pillows on amazon are gonna be pretty low quality too. Really, recommending just about anything on amazon besides the DHR is against the rules of the board because just about all of it is bootlegs...
I will say from the experience of only getting started on this hobby a few months ago myself that bootlegs are not worth the money you save. Peachskin sucks as a daki cover material and the low quality pillows bootleggers sell are not only stuffed with VERY low quality plush, but the shells are pretty crappy too. They're either made of a crappy material or they'll start to come apart within a few months of regular use. The high entrance fee of getting a legit pillow and a legit cover may seem like a lot, but trust me when I say its worth it in the long run.
Amazon Japan ships it internationally now, just order there. Total price comes out to $162.53 shipped to the US. You can save a TINY bit of money by ordering from Amazon Japan and having it shipped to a forwarder like BigInJapan and choosing as economical a shipping method as possible, but you'll save like $15 and get your pillow in a month rather than 2 days.
What is the easiest way to get a DHR6000 shipped to America? I've looked into proxies but honestly I don't feel like going through the hassle of providing identification and all that. I checked Amazon.jp and it's weird because people here say that they offer international shipping on the DHR6000. But when I check it says it cannot be shipped to America. I'd rather just buy it from amazon america here: https://www.amazon.com/Dakimakura-body-pillow-original-DHR6000/dp/B00CFG0B3I. It is more expensive but really I think it's not that much more compared to the shipping from japan. Is this amazon listing legit? If so I think I will just shell out the extra to get it from amazon and avoid the effort of going through a proxy.
EDIT: Thanks for all the answers guys.
They're sold through Amazon US now. No need for the proxy service.
https://www.amazon.com/Dakimakura-body-pillow-original-DHR6000/dp/B00CFG0B3I
As the others said, worth the price. The cheaper ones off ebay will get shitty after a while (usually it's the filler bunching or twisting weirdly and whatnot).
Amazon Japan to a forwarder, then shipping with FedEx which comes out to about 4,000 to 5,000 JPY shipping. Total would be roughly ~$120 give or take a bit.
I find it pricey when I compare it to Amazon.com, even considering the exchange rate. The last thing I was looking at was a Snoogle. $48.99 USD on Amazon.com. $89.99 CAD on Amazon.ca. $48.99 USD is only $62.47 CAD...like what the heck is that? I do like the Amazon reviews and bestseller lists - sometimes I look stuff up on there just for the reviews haha.
So I'm not going to find really bad quality ones on amazon or anything? I'll just buy off there. Seems easiest
What about this? Look good?
are you looking in physical shops or online? i can totally understand shops with limited physical inventory space not keen on stocking too many of these so maybe you had some bad luck and happened to swing by after what they had on hand were sold?
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00CFG0B3I/ amazon still has it in stock
Several of the places that sell dakimakura, also sell the pillow. I've tended to buy the pillows off of Amazon after searching for ones that are the right size. I highly suggest not buying one of the body/maternity pillows from a home store because they all suck unless you actually find a decent one. The tend to go flat pretty fast.
Currently have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011U1LIK8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 However, the pattern is thick on the pillow, it kind of shows throw the dakimakura. I originally had this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BR1T142/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is pretty nice, the problem is the down feathers occasionally poke through.
For imperial sizes get one that is 20x60in if it doesn't have cm listed.
I live in Germany, is ordering from the German amazon a valid option? https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00CFG0B3I/?coliid=I3IUM477ODSD99&colid=32QT9AVKY6Q31&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Good day, I recently bought a daki cover 160x50cm for the first time, so now I was looking around for where to buy the inner pillow.
I live in the Philippines and it seems there isn't a pillow here that fits to the size of the daki cover (biggest I've seen so far is a 57x 20'' around 140 x 50 cm)
if I was going to buy something that needs to be shipped might as well go for the best quality since shipping would cost a lot. So looking around it seems most of the people are recommending the A&J DHR6000 one. I see it in Amazon.com for around $190 w/ free shipping. this one to be exact https://www.amazon.com/Dakimakura-body-pillow-original-DHR6000/dp/B00CFG0B3I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1533642860&sr=8-1&keywords=dakimakura+pillow+160x50
So I would like to ask about.. if I went off and use a fowarding/proxy site to buy the same item from japan would it cost cheaper or would still sum up to the same price?
I'm not really familiar with how amazon ships their products nor I know anything about proxy buying so I really don't have much information on it.
Here is the listing for the DHR6000 on Amazon which you can use to obtain it through a proxy (recommended for you as someone who is inexperienced with purchasing items from Japan) or a forwarder. Here is the link to it on Gate as well, same process.
From my personal experience it is cheaper to go through a proxy than to purchase via your local Amazon for a DHR6000. The margins that they have on the pillows they sell are much larger than the cut a proxy takes.
As a side note, you might want to look into what offers your bank has in regards to making payments in foreign currencies. As your charges will be in Yen you will get charged a currency conversion fee that would probobly be in the range of 3% or so. Your bank may have offers in place for people looking to make purchases in foreign currencies which could save you a little extra money in fees.
The cover is quite a nice piece of art, I would have picked one up myself if my budget was more generous.
Some people like to display their covers on walls in a manner similar to posters and wall scrolls. There are DIY magnet based setups that have been covered on the sub for display purposes that you could look into if intereseted.
In regards to that pillow I would advise against it due to the size difference. The lacking ~8cm will make the cover look daggy on the pillow and based on the weight I don't think it would be all that great. If you are in the US this would be your best bet at a cheap but still decent inner. People have had some complaints about it compared to other pillows as detailed in my guide but its still going to be better than the other cheap options on Amazon.
Sorry about the confusion with CO, I accidentally typed inner instead of cover. What I was intending to say was that you can buy a blank cover from there and fill it with polyfill to make a DIY inner. If you want to just stuff the polyfill directly into the actual inner that is also an option.
I have made some other posts in this tread regarding taking care of your cover to avoid unintended damages. Its mostly covering personal grooming but I would say to check it out if you are planning to use the cover and are afraid of damaging it. I know that my first cover took quite a beating because I was not quite aware what was causing damage to my cover.
not sure if any store stocks it. these things take up a lot of space reserved for higher earning items that take up less space. your best bet is to buy it on amazon and send it to your hotel or local convenience store. might have to shell out for prime or pay for quick shipping, depending on your schedule.
I bought the Leachco back ‘n belly pillow thru Amazon. I love it! You can wash the pillow case. It’s firm enough that I don’t need a pillow under my head if I don’t want. I highly recommend.
Leachco Back 'N Belly Pregnancy/Maternity Contoured Body Pillow, Ivory https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002E7DIQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_IylIFbA2B5087
Is this CMD9000 listing legit? I see other people saying that it should be only around $20 cheaper than the DHR6000, but this is on amazon for less than half the price, with free shipping.
We didn’t have the room in our bed for a full-size maternity pillow, so I went with this one:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B011U1LIK8/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_AJS0Q99B54QN590MZBGS
It’s firm and very heavy for a pillow. I have to put some effort in to kick it off the bed to be able to get out of bed on my own without rolling over it. If you have the space, one on either side would probably immobilize you.
I tried the c-shape ones (e.g. snoogle), and it wasn’t enough, and then got this one used from another mom and it made a huge difference: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002E7DIQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_CY6ZSNERV7PG11RNG66D

I am new to the hobby - I found a couple covers I really like (one official and one from mandarake) and got them through DHL.
The problem is the inner. After reading the comprehensive guide and various comments, and figuring out that getting a DHR would be both very expensive and a hassle, I ordered a Dakimakuri a couple weeks ago. The problem is that with the current shipping situation, it will likely take some months before I get it...
Now turns out that Amazon Canada actually has the Comodo in stock. My understanding is that this should be the same Comodo pillow mentioned in the comprehensive guide, correct?
For the moment I hanged my covers using the suggested magnet method, I am looking at them... and I am not sure I can resist three months within an inner - when I could get the Comodo in 2 days. I understand that it will not be as "huggable" as the Kuri, but my thinking is: when I finally get the Kuri, I can switch to it as my "hug to bed" pillow and instead use the Comodo for displaying purposes. I mean, knowing myself I doubt I will stop at two covers... Would this be a reasonable plan?
Not cooling as far as I’m aware, but I use this memory foam one & put a silk pillowcase on it. Just looked & there’s a 30% off coupon for cyber Monday.
I have both, and I much prefer my body pillow. I got this one and like it: Snuggle-Pedic Full Body Pillow w/ Shredded Memory Foam, Cooling Bamboo Cover - GreenGuard Gold Certified, Made in USA, Kool-Flow Tech - Fits 20x54 Pillowcase https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011U1LIK8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_JDDNPQRBVVJZJ1NAZ2TC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I'm laughing at your co-worker saying you can come back in a week.
I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy and unexpected endometriosis. G-d bless my surgeon, 'cos I was on the table for eleven hours while he removed my uterus and scraped out all the endo crap.
Not only do you have to recover from getting a whole ass organ removed and manipulation or your innards (they blow air in your belly to expand it and give the doctor room to work), your vagina is gonna be paper dry from not being moisturized (peeing hurt when I finally got to do it), you're going to be gassy for a while, and being on the table that long gave me a brick sized area on my backside that was numb for days. Oh, and I ended up staying in the hospital for extra days because I needed plasma and two blood bags. It was horrible because of the back issue and it took my next week visit before he gave me some much needed muscle relaxers in addition to the pain medication,
I mean, your version might vary. My BFF had a similar procedure done(no endo, though) and was home the next day, stoned on Percocet and watching bad television. But in both our cases, we weren't cleared to drive for a couple of weeks at least.
I was out for a month. Fortunately, I never had to deal with stairs, only elevators.
BTW, I found using a body pillow awesome for cradling my sore belly and it was heavy enough to hold on to if I wanted to turn from side to side. My mom made me drink a lot of carbonated drinks for the first couple of days to help me get out all the gas, so practice belching out the alphabet! ;-) A friend came over and helped me cook and otherwise do food prep. And you might want to look into one of the pillow wedges to you can sit up in bed or an inflatable wedge that goes under the mattress (Mattress Genie is one of them).
I wish you well.
I really like the Snoogle! I liked it with each pregnancy - but there might be better ones out there these days.
This is the one I have from 2018 (but I had the same one in 2014 but gave to a friend back in the day) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000635WI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And bought the cover separately: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JLL7FK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Highly recommend the car pillow from Pink Pepper. I got the car pillow and the two hearts that I parked under my arms to reduce pressure.
This body pillow has been amazing. I’m 5 weeks out and still using it. It’s good for sleeping or for “reclining” and watching tv. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002E7DIQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
I think I would’ve not liked a u-shaped one at all due to the lack of flexibility, but I have loved this one sided full body pillow that isn’t marketed as a pregnancy pillow. I still had a little hip pain but nowhere near what I had before I got the pillow, I think it made a big difference to be able to support my knees, ankles and boobs at the same time. But I really didn’t want my head forced onto to the same pillow and I didn’t like the curves of the u-shaped ones. I’ll keep using this one after pregnancy and it’s my new favorite item.

I'm new to Dakimakuras in general and have been searching for a decent quality pillow. I don't want to pay more than 100 dollars so is this a good buy? And how does it compare to that A&J DHR 6000?
Leachco Back 'N Belly... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002E7DIQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This is the one I use. I think it’s thick. I actually had to get used to it a bit because my pillows are usually thinner. I absolutely love it after the adjustment period
I'm a back sleeper as well but noticed this week that I've been naturally going to my side now. I ordered this one from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002E7DIQ/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 but based on how I've been self-correcting, I might not even need it!
Ok so I have bought a cover via ZenMarket, now I need to get the pillow I have several options:
Would love to see what you guys prefer in this. I like firm pillow but I want to still be able to breathe when I faceplant to the pillow.

Is the base for mine, I recommend a nice cool sheet material cover/pillowcase, even though the bamboo fiber one is removable we all know the cool side of the pillow is better
There's a website that is a review aggregator for sleep products called SleepLikeTheDead, you can use it to review different brands of sleep stuff, for body pillows they have this:
https://www.sleeplikethedead.com/body-neck-wedge-pillow-reviews.html
If you just want the top recommendation: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011U1LIK8
I got the leeches snoogle before I was pregnant, to help with my back and SI joint pain, and still using it during my pregnancy. Best purchase ever. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000635WI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_ar28FbM9730W6
If you're looking for pregnancy pillow recommendations, we bought this one and my wife says it's helped a lot. She used to be a back sleeper but is now sleeping on her side, and this pillow helps with that. She says it doesn't take away all of the hip pain but it makes things tolerable.
get one of these
I have one I bought on Amazon. The nice thing too is it holds on to warmth so even when I get up and come back to bed it is still warm and nice to cuddle up to...

A good pillow I am using is Amazon DHR6000. Its very soft but still close to the word flat.
This is what I got - I lucked out because it works, but I expected to play Princess and the Pea (like I do with most pillows). https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0000635WI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4VWMFbJPTG172?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Your link looks comfy as HELL! Except I'm sweating just thinking about sleeping in it 😫
The best place to find the DHR pillows is amazon jp. You'll need a proxy to order it. Unfortunately, I don't know any respectable alternatives for Europe. Any chance anyone else can add anything?
Edit : ok nvm I'm stupid xd
The pillow's sold out tho. Anyone out there knows how the proxy deals with that ? Does it order as soon as it's back or just reject everything and you have to wait till it's back to get the proxy to buy it ?
From what I understood there's another company than amazon which also sells that pillow so I guess it's ok, just wanna be sure
I believe Buyee is pretty cheap if you get your DHR on amazon. I'm planning to get one myself and I'll probably use Buyee since they're absurdly cheap compared to other proxies I've found so far.
The best pillow is the DHR-6000, and from what I understand amazon jp ships it internationally now. Some good sides for covers are Cuddly Octopus and BWStore, linked to the right. Evening Call is alright too, but from what I've heard they can be a massive pain to deal with. ACHobby is pretty highly regarded here too. For ordering from them internationally without a proxy (they're based in Hong Kong), you have to contact the owner. Just search the thread for "alkie" if you're interested, I'm pretty sure I've posted how to contact him a few times just this month.
So ... Ill just recommend the DHR6000 again? : P Amazon supossedly does international shipping these days or you can get it on Gate with use of a proxy.
Regarding the stretching it should be fine. If you are still woried it has a zipper and just remove a little filling. It is recommended to just get a 160 cm pillow as you can remove filling to make it fit a 150 cm cover but not the other way around.
Is this the legendary DHR6000 I hear so much about or is this a knockoff? I'm still new to this so I'm not entirely sure.
I also hear that amazon jp ships internationally but I havent found anything to prove that.
Impossible to tell for sure. Whenever I order the DHR6000, I get it from Amazon JP officially and just use a forwarding service. Saves money, too, since businesses listing it on the other Amazon's are usually marking it up a substantial amount (even including shipping).
I really hope you can help me out. I'm finally able to buy my very first Dakimakura and I'm currently looking for a DHR6000 pillow. But before ordering one from Amazon Japan through a proxy I wanted to ask if I can just by this one from Amazon Germany.
It seems to be the Original DHR6000 and I saw some people ordering theirs from Amazon US as well. Most of the sellers also have a good rating overall so I'd much rather order through Amazon than through a proxy. Do you think it's safe to order from Amazon Germany or is it possible that it could not be the original?
Sorry for the late response. I am a huge fan of the DHR6000 pillow from Amazon JP if you want a 160x50 cm pillow which fits the corresponding cover amazing showing off the artwork perfectly without the little flaps of left over fabric. If you get a 160x50cm cover get a 160x50cm body pillow. For some of the licensed Cospa covers they have 150x50 dimensions, so if you wanted to sleep on them you would probably wanna get a Cospa 150x50cm body pillow to match, but any body pillow would work.
When it comes to material for covers there is usually just one material. Covers that come in a variety of materials are usually bootlegs. There are rare instances where dakimakuras can be reprinted with different materials.
You do need a proxy or forwarder. It should be around 165 USD all in all. Feel free to correct me if i am wrong.
Here is an Amazon JP link. People have been arguing if it ships international or not. You can try if they do i suppose.
If you look on the amazon Japan site there are a lot of people complaining about the DHR6000, does anyone know anything about that? there are pictures also. https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E6%8A%B1%E3%81%8D%E6%9E%95%E6%9C%AC%E4%BD%93-J%E3%82%AA%E3%83%AA%E3%82%B8%E3%83%8A%E3%83%AB-DHR6000-%E3%83%8F%E3%82%A4%E3%82%AF%E3%83%A9%E3%82%B9-160cm%C3%9750cm/dp/B00CFG0B3I
So, I can't recommend the snoogle because I've not yet tried it, but since others are recommending it I wanted to point out this one I found on Amazon the other day for $10:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000635WI/
It's clearly coming from Asia given the shipping time...I really don't know what I'm going to get...but it says it's a Leachco brand Snoogle Total Body Pillow, and for $10 I'm willing to take a gamble :)
Yup, basically something like this. Nothing fancy just a long pillow. BioPEDIC Hypoallergenic 240 Thread Count Premium 20-by-54 Inch Body Pillow with SofLoft Fiberfill, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002IVTEJ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_lt2LFb2T592M3
My question is about the first opening
the translated opening guide on amazon said something about cutting of the ends !? so it gets air and gets bigger? am i just stupid or is that rly the right thing to do?
here the link from the Japanese Amazon site
Hey u/DakimakuraGuy I will remove this if it is a bootleg, but before I drop 200USD on a pillow wanted to know if these are real or bootleg A&J DHR6000 's or not from amazon https://www.amazon.com/Dakimakura-body-pillow-original-DHR6000/dp/B00CFG0B3I/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 from the reviews they seem like they are satisfied, but that doesn't tell me the authenticity. Since you are well versed in Daki's I thought id ask. (amazon US link)
So I bought a COMODO pillow from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFJWW86?ref=yo_pop_ma_share ) and whenever I sleep with my daki the cover shifts around. The cover is a 2 way tricot, and I was wondering if there was something to keep the cover from shifting around when in use. I tried searching for an answer and I couldn't find anything, I might be bad at searching lol.
I'm not confident it's legit if you look at the sellers list. The top seller has few and low ratings, it's not being sold officially/direct. If you're set on the DHR6000, you can find it legit on Amazon JP and I'm pretty sure they will ship internationally at a bit of a cost.
Others might have a better source. However personally I'd just recommend the Dakimakuri Inner. General consensus puts it in-between the DHR6k and DHR7k.
I wanna know what's the current "top tier" inner pillow on the market right now. Back then it used to be DHR6000 but the recent amazon reviews are quite low and complains about how it's using a different material now (based from the reviews I think it started at late 2016), then I managed to stumble upon this which has better reviews and for only a fraction of the price. I just wanted to hear some thoughts and extra options if there are any.
Hello!
I'm new to Dakis and just ordered my 3 first covers from Cuddly Octopus.
And I am now searching for a pillow to put the covers on. After some research I found that the DHR6000 seems to be the best choice. However I need some advice on where to buy it:
DHR6000 on French Amazon (because i'm French)
It seems that the pillow on the French Amazon page is legit and that it's Japanese companies reselling real DHR6000 for buyers outside of Japan.
But I wonder if I shouldn't just buy on the Japanese Amazon through a proxy website? (and which proxy do you recommend?)

And I also discovered when I was searching that the old version of the DHR6000 was better than the newer one. Is it possible to buy this old version or is it completely discontinued?
Thank you in advance!
I ordered this inner pillow, and ordered the custom pillow case here (NSFW).
Cuddly Octopus is a legit site that doesn't steal art and is very high quality! They were very helpful for me, I'd definitely recommend giving them some business if you are thinking about it
Pro tip: unroll the condom a couple notches and put a few drops of lube inside. Then lay down on top of a body pillow (This is what it looks like in case you don’t know, you can get one for $10 at Walmart or Target https://www.amazon.com/BioPEDIC-Premium-SofLOFT-Pillow-White/dp/B002IVTEJ2) and hump to your heart’s content. The orgasm will make you moan.
It can be easier to fall asleep if you're "spooning" a pillow. I'm kinda tempted to pick up one of these; I bet that it'd get the job done, especially if you're 420-friendly. My dog is a champ, but he overheats after 5-10 minutes of snuggling and has to move away from me.
That's terrible, but it's true. I actually opened up to and was vulnerable with this man; before that, I'd always kept everyone at arm's length. I'm planning on taking a very, very long (perhaps permanent) break from dating and men; I'd rather just adopt an second dog and get one of these for when I'm lonely.
Daki inner finally arrived! Hello good sleep! Daki
Was wondering what should I keep in mind before I unpack it and allow to it puff up?
I'm thinking of putting it on my drying rack (about 60cm in length) or on bed.
While allowing it to puff, will cooking/eating cause it to absorb any smell from food?
What about having the AC run in the room while its puffing up?
I literally just searched Amazon for "body pillow" and got one that looked decent.
I'm not sure if this is the exact one I got, but it's similar: https://www.amazon.com/BioPEDIC-Premium-SofLOFT-Pillow-White/dp/B002IVTEJ2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Body+pillow&qid=1598276103&sr=8-4
Would anyone mind linking me to the best recommended pillows to use with a cover? I have a 160cm cover on its way to me from CuddlyOctopus and would appreciate some recommendations.

I'm aware of the A & J one like this one on Amazon , would this be a good choice? I'm a side-sleeper and would like something comfy and supportive.

Thank you!
I got this one on amazon and I loooooove it. 10/10 sleeps. Took me one night to get used to it but honestly i can’t see myself sleeping without it now.
Somewhat unrelated-ish, but I dunno where else to ask.
It is just me or amazon japan prices for dakimakura and inners have all been significantly reduced? (I tried searching "抱き枕本体" and instead of seeing the usual 10k+ yen prices its all below 5k)
I'm still looking to buy an inner and I'm still leaning towards this. However, does anyone know whether Japan delivers to Australia?
I have this japan post link but I can't read it.
I'm gonna use Japan Shipping service since Amazon JP don't deliver to Australia. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What is the opinion (I guess comparison of quality?) of Dakimakuri's inner pillow compared to the inners like the DHR6000, DHR7000, Marshmellow, CMD9900, and withAqua.
I wanted to avoid proxies so I was looking at the CMD9900 from Amazon when they are in stock. https://www.amazon.com/COMODO-Original-CMD9950MS-High-End-Dakimakura/dp/B07DFJWW86/ , and Dakimakuri's 4.4 Kg inner.
If the quality is drastically different I would go through a proxy to buy a good inner.
lol discord brigade!!XD
I can understand dakimakuri being pissed about you calling their product crap, but relax, I still read all of yall comments.
So far, I got these 3 bookmarked: dakimakuri inner, DHR6k n DHR7k. Kinda leaning towards DHR6K, cuz I'm lazy to buy fillings and stuff em in. Also, isn't these two DHR6000 the same?
Thanks so much for the help. for the Inners I ended up getting this one from amazon that my friend recommended. It's leagues better than anything I have had so far because I had a $20 not filling inner before. The outside is fuzzy and grips the Dakimakura outside I have but it does slide around and get wonky. This is also probably because my outer casing is also really cheep and was $30.
The inner fluff for the amazon one is really fluffy and dense (for my first real inner pillow) but it does have some bunching but its not very noticeable. The fluff is building up at the top and the whole pillow is slightly shifted to one side vs a flat pillow. If this is normal then oke if its not and I can get a better pillow for the price plz give me recommendations. I'm looking for anything that is better priced under $100 including shipping

It's just hard. He is my first boyfriend. It's an emotional rollercoaster at times. I just miss him so much because I actually love him and it is hard to deal with love at times. I haven't experienced love before from a guy. I think one thing is going to help me is a pillow shaped like a man's body with an arm it's called a boyfriend pillow. This is what I'm talking about https://www.amazon.com/Boyfriend-Pillow-Original-Body-Blue/dp/B0046GK1AI/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=Boyfriend+pillow&qid=1571190595&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyTUZHSEJPSVhLTDBMJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwODgzNjg2MTc1Q...
You could get her a "boyfriend pillow,"and there are a bunch of even more extensive and novel designs:
The Original Boyfriend Body Pillow Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0046GK1AI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vgDUDbXGDYJJP
and a weighted blanket:
Quility Premium Adult Weighted Blanket & Removable Cover | 20 lbs | 60"x80" | for Individual Between 190-240 lbs | Full Size Bed | Premium Glass Beads | https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H5NPKPP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_NiDUDbN1N0AAR
I'm looking to replace my inner and found these two on Amazon.
First, is there any difference in these two that makes one $10 more? Second, does anyone know how these compare to something like a DHR6000 or one of the inners that are often recommended?
So I'm just getting into the hobby and was going to get a DHR6000 ( this one ) on amazon, then I saw dakimakuri had an inner of their own, would I be better off with dakimakuri?
I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0046GK1AI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_4l1ZCb109ZQSV which I bought cheap at a flea market. I like it, pretty nice. I named it Todd because even I realize how odd it is.
This was the biggest Mother’s Day hit when my wife was pregnant. https://www.amazon.com/Leachco-Snoogle-Pregnancy-Maternity-Pillow/dp/B0000635WI/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1Z6AHN6QU60PG&keywords=snoogle+pregnancy+pillow&qid=1557542569&s=gateway&sprefix=Snoo%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-3
I loved my Snoogle , but fair warning, it is BIG. Between me, the pillow, the bump and the cat, my poor husband was forced to sleep in the guest room for the last half of my pregnancy,
If you are going to purchase a pillow from Amazon (assuming you are in the US) at around that price point, go for this one instead. I believe someone already made a post in this thread about stuffing. Direct all further questions to the new thread for the best chance of getting an answer.
That listing doesn't ship to Canada unfortunately.
>As a counter point to your statement on the insanity of spending that much on a pillow, the price of the cover of said sexualized depiction of an anthropomorphized aircraft carrier would often be in the ranges of $115+ CAD assuming that it was a Japanese cover.
I just paid for it. $173 CAD including shipping. It was this cover. I rationalize the cost somewhat because it is a small production run, and presumably the artist is making a healthy commission on the whole thing. At least I hope that is the case, otherwise I'd feel a little silly about going all in the authentic Japanese cover. Pillows are a simple and mass produced object. Granted all my pillows are shitty, but a pillow would have to be really impressive to command that kind of dough.
Is there an English friendly seller of these pillows from Japan? I found one listing on Amazon.ca but it is $184 plus another $96 shipping. There has gotta be a more inexpensive way to get the same item.
I don't know. The whole thing is completely insane. I may as well get a decent pillow. That daki cover of Unicorn was just too goddamn cute. I had to have it. It seems weird to sleep on it because it so lewd, but whatever. I would have preferred a lurid, but more clothed version, but the illustration is just so perfect I couldn't not buy it. I rarely see covers that I really like, and when I do they aren't available so I had to jump on this one.
Sorry just trying to come to terms with fact the fact that I paid a princely sum for (hopefully) high-quality, large loli pillow case.
As a note I assume that the $200 price point is in canadian dollars because that is pretty much on point for what I paid for my DHR6000 with current exchange rates from Yen to canadian dollars.
As a counter point to your statement on the insanity of spending that much on a pillow, the price of the cover of said sexualized depiction of an anthropomorphized aircraft carrier would often be in the ranges of $115+ CAD assuming that it was a Japanese cover. Now obviously I don't know what cover you have or what you have paid for it but it appears as though you are wanting to use the pillow to sleep with by electing not to go with a shitty cheap pillow soley for the purposes of display.
With this in mind you would be using the pillow for on average 8 hours a day every day. Investing in a good quality item that you are going to use a lot only seems like common sense to me. I can say that I consider my purchase of a DHR6000 to be well worth it as I have gotten much more value out of the pillow than what I paid for it.
One potential option you could look into was this listing for a CMD9000 on Amazon. I don't know if they offer shipping to Canada (they don't offer shipping to my country but I'm not in north america) but this listing has caught the eye of a number of users here recently as if this is a legitimate CMD9000 then it is probobly the cheapest quality pillow you can find on the western market right now. I will add this disclaimer that I personally don't like purchasing from Amazon resellers simply due to the potential that I am not provided with a genuine product and prefer to purchasing directly from Japan. However, you may find this to be the best method of aquiring yourself a pillow and if that suits you then go for it.
Can you find out if she's sleeping with a curved pillow? I hate to think what sleeping during my pregnancies would have been like without mine. It was so amazing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000635WI/ref=asc_df_B0000635WI5437057/?th=1
ETA: I realize at $60 it might be more than you're looking to spend, but it's worth suggesting one to your friend if she's miserable sleeping and isn't using one.
I don't get these posts. It's a market. No one "knows" what the price will be and when. There are projections that can, using TA, give you some sort of expectation. This of course is no guarantee.
However, if you are basing your future returns on what people tell you on internet forums (especially forums that would be bullish on your investment) then what you are really asking is for someone to hold you and tell you that everything is going to be ok.
Advice. Get one of these.
Will be 1 WAX. Next customer :P
