So true. As if it weren't enough, one further advantage of windowless rooms is that they tend to be cheaper! Double win!
This may help you though. Might not be as impenetrable, but has the advantage that you can write on it!
Placing a tall bookcase or two in front of those pesky windows could be another solution.

Paint them with chalk paint so that you can mark whatever strain's inside and change it at will!
