I gave birth on 7/1 and ended up with hemorrhoids. They honestly weren’t too painful in the beginning, but then randomly a couple weeks ago one of them started bleeding when I had a bowel movement and then it felt like I was passing glass. The pain got so bad I couldn’t sit or stand.
What helped me in the immediate moment was sitting in a warm bath. Then I called my OB and she prescribe me Anusol suppositories. Using those combined with Prep-H and this stuff from Amazon and the pain was gone within a few days.
I also take Colace (stool softener) and drink way more water than I think I need. I can still feel one of them there but it’s not painful!
As a bottom I always keep this handy.

I've been dealing with anal fissures since like 6 weeks pp (gave birth in October lol) and finally feel like I'm getting back to normal. It's been a journey and honestly getting them to heal was a huge pain in the ass (pun intended) but here's what I did:
buy a giant yeti (28 oz) with a straw and drink enough to refill it 4-5x a day
increase my fiber intake to around the recommended daily amount: taking a supplement like metamucil or benefiber can help, I've also been eating way more beans, vegetables, and fruits while avoiding or limiting dairy, bread, and red meat.
taking a daily probiotic
doing a sitz bath after every bm

This is all personal experience, and I never went to a doctor for this. But I am a very very experienced bottom, and one time I had a not so experienced top with some toys. Long store short I got a nasty tear down there and spent a few weeks in agony (no heath insurance).

^This seemed to help tremendously, and I used PrepH wipes now and then as well. Never did a sitz bath. Wish you all the best! (Total healing time was about 6 months, strictly no sex during that time) Now I'm fully healed back to it, but I'm always extremely careful.

Hey guys! I’ve had an AF and hems on and off for 7 years which started while I was in nursing school and stress related. I’m A 28 y.o F. Anywho … I was able to cure my fissures years ago for about a year and a half ( I was vegan, sitz bathing everyday, cut out sugar, fried foods, drank lemon water every morning which led me to have consistent -scheduled BMS). But I fell off that routine and now it’s been like 3 years of dealing with it daily.
My Dr. Told me not to do surgery and that my fissure was chronic but not worth the surgery because I haven’t had kids yet. Listen this pain was intenssseeeee! So I feel all of your pain and I’m so sorry you’re hurting. 😢 But we are all in this together so don’t lose hope. ❤️💪
Needless to say I’ve been pretty pain free for the WEEK ( which has not happened in years) and although I have had some bleeding because I had a flare up from Christmas, I haven’t had much pain this week!
I’ve legit taken everything and spent thousands on natural remedies, medications ( dialtizem, nitro) , Naturopaths…nothing!
But here’s what i did this week that’s brought my pain during BMS and after from a 10/10 to a 5/10 and I’m sure it’ll get better as I maintain the routine.
SITZ BATHED TWICE A DAY W. EPSON SALT, WITCH HAZEL AND COCONUT OIL. The water was HOOOOTTT! But cools down after a while . Sit in it for 15-20 mins . I bought a chair basin that goes over the toilet on Amazon.
POOPED WITH A STOOL and only went when I was almost crowning.
RESTORALAX DAILY
NO ANIMAL PROTEIN (I did have cheese but no meats or chicken) I’m officially vegetarian because my body hates animals lol
USED VASELINE MIXED WITH THIS OIL- https://www.amazon.ca/Forces-Nature-Fissure-Control-11ml/dp/B005C55HPG/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=20NLSXG55OY4F&keywords=fissure&qid=1642273620&sprefix=fiss%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-4. Put it on a q-tip then inserted it before and after a BM
