First, if I was doing a deck I'd prefer star drive or square drive over phillips.
That being said, I'm normally something of a milfuckee fanboy but I have to agree on the shockwave bits being mediocre at best. I really like these reduced diameter bits. They nest deeper in the screw and I haven't stripped one yet.
Dude.
Not trying to be a jerk here, I'm just trying to help. It's clear you haven't been at this very long-- no big deal, everybody starts somewhere, right? :)
The swipes are a dead giveaway. Again, not trying to be a dick, but throw those goddamn things in the garbage and buy some thing else.
These are great and comparatively inexpensive

Then get this. http://www.yardstore.com/browse.cfm/4,6893.html
Throw the bits that come with that 90* screwdriver in the garbage and get these http://www.amazon.com/Forney-70755-Phillips-Reduced-Diameter/dp/B00E17P4W2
No drill/screwgun? No ratcheting screwdriver?
You asked about decent ratchets-- the matco 88tooth 1/4 drive ratchets are the bee's knees, dude.
You said you're working on fuel systems? A set of angle wrenches will save your bacon.
Take those channel locks home to work on your sink and get some of these: http://www.zoro.com/knipex-pliers-wrench-6-in-86-03-150/i/G0371384/?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google_Shopping_Feed&gclid=CJ6wn9fDgccCFQGqaQodABcC2w&gclsrc=aw.ds
I hope all of those sockets are 12 point. If they aren't you're gonna have a bad time.
As an aside, I have reshadowed my box a few times. At first I did it by category as you have done here. Then I did it by usage. Then I did it by usage with a different material (Kaizen foam from fastcap.com) Currently, a few drawers have themes, but the top drawer is not tool-type specific. It is the things I use 90% of the time. One drawer covers most jobs. Bam.
Consider that when you inevitably reshadow your box. It will save you time.
For sockets, instead of individually shadowing them, I use something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-40120-Magnetic-Socket-Holder/dp/B0002STST4/ref=pd_sim_263_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=06M0RN8JJAHAS7DK11B0
I cut off the handle and the extra slots I don't need, then white paint-penned the bottoms of the socket troughs and shadowed a spot for the whole unit. Takes a lot less space and is portable as a unit.
The cheap swivel sockets on amazon are good and you don't feel bad when you have to grind them down.
The cheap angle wrenches on amazon are just fine for about 99% of your tasks.
The ratcheting screwdriver by Bahco is badass. Amazon again.
Hold up on the air tools. Die grinder and rivet gun will do almost everything you need, unless you have some odd specialty.
Crescent wrench has a place, but you should consider getting a Ford wrench as well. Difficult access and whatnot.
Hope this is helpful! Cheers.
