When I lived in an apartment that had a patio, I put a pot of tomatoes out there. It was my first experience and it failed epically because I knew nothing about growing food lol but I learned a lot. Starting small is really the best way to start.
You can get planters like this on wheels: https://smile.amazon.com/Raised-Planter-Outdoor-Elevated-Vegetables/dp/B07RSXQV6G
Or something smaller for herbs and lettuce: https://smile.amazon.com/4Ft-Vertical-Raised-Garden-Bed/dp/B081QQH576/
There's ton of books on Amazon and at the library on container gardening like this: https://smile.amazon.com/How-Grow-Vegetables-Pots-Containers-ebook/dp/B094PPWKCY
You can also find books on small-scale prepping like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Prepping-Strategies-Condos-Apartments-Duplex-ebook/dp/B07FNBRNZV
Hey! I'm new to gardening and started growing some zucchinis and tomatoes outdoors, but my garden is getting invaded by spotted lantern flies :( Will the plants continue growing if I transplant them indoors? What would be the best size/type of planter? (They are currently in this planter box) Thank you!!!!!
