Thanks for the nice note--that interviews that HST did with Terkel are great--and glad to hear you had a chance to read the selection. I feel like we need his perspective today more than ever--not just because of the current president's personality and brutishness, but because the policies he champions are so deeply unjust.
The book will be available on Amazon for sure as a hardcover, Kindle, and audiobook starting 10/30--here's the link--and if you (or if anyone else on this thread) is interested in an advance digital copy in order to write an honest Amazon/Goodreads response, you can email me and I'll send you a link to NetGalley, which will allow you to access it (my email is tdenevi [at] gmu [dottt] com & it's availableat this website).
If you have a chance with Fear and Loathing in America, you should check out the letters from during and after the 8/28/68 police riot at the DNC. I found them to be really moving and affecting.
And if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to let me know.
Buy the ticket, take the ride,
Tim
