They're really not. There is basically no on-screen sex in WoT. And the violence is rarely explicit. Yes, even Dumai's Wells, which is often invoked as uber-gruesome, is basically just one paragraph of gore.
I mean, this series even had a YA release...
I remember picking up my first wheel of time book from a yard sale in 1994 or 1995, it was a special printing that only went a little ways into "The Eye of the World" i think this is it, but it was a long time ago. I was soooooo hooked, but by that time I think only he only had up to "Lord of Chaos printed." man did I gulp those things down. I got lost like so many other in LoC, and ended up leaving the series for a little while, but I can still remember getting up early in the morning and going to my schools library in Jr. High because it was the only place I could get internet to look up the early fan art, and plot ideas and all of that. it was some of my fondest memories. welcome to the series
I think you're thinking of this, which is different. From The Two Rivers came out in 2002 or so, this is from 1994 or around there.
