If you're looking for something even faster, consider Fujitsu's excellent line of workgroup scanners (fi-5xxx / 6xxx / 7xxx series) which offer even greater speed and increased ADF capability (80 pages). These can be found refurbished starting at roughly the same price, but can get a bit more pricey as you go up in features. However, they are some of the best performing scanners on the market.
