If you're coming from a Stiga pro carbon and have been playing for 3 years, I'd say you need to try a legitimate beginner paddle first before buying a 250 dollar setup that will send everything 3 feet past where you are aiming.
Even something as cheap as this Gambler premade will be much faster than your Stiga: https://www.amazon.com/Gambler-Custom-Professional-Tennis-Paddle/dp/B012DOVXQK
more than you ever need if you are going to play just 3x a month. wipe it down every now and then with just a little bit of water in your hand.

How much is shipping? $34 might be a stretch, but I may go for it as a Christmas gift. If I have to pay about $10 for shipping, I'm gonna pass.
How does it compare to this: https://www.amazon.com/Custom-Professional-Tennis-Paddle-Gambler/dp/B012DOVXQK
Also - how would I customize it? Which blade do I get and which thickness should I go for?
EDIT: I also found an older thread which suggested this: https://www.amazon.com/DHS-Tennis-Racket-Paddle-Racquets/dp/B001IZXO4A
