If you're looking to spend $10 (or less) on a mouse, I'd recommend buying a Rii M01 ($7 on Amazon). This at least has a PMW3360 sensor and 20M Omron switches (as well as a removable cable).

well you can still get better than that for $10, the Rii M01 is consistently under 15 USD on US Amazon and has a 3360

there was a while where you could get the James Donkey 325 (which uses a PMW3325) for like 7 USD as well, and I doubt this thing is usable in any FPS game

There are better options, but for people on a TIGHT budget Redragon is an okay choice.

However, I would spend an extra $10 and get this Rii mouse with a 3360.

It's a corsair m65 pro clone, has a 3360 sensor and sniper button. Only 18$ on amazon.

I wasn't able to find the exact mouse (the number of mice manufacturing Chinese companies with weird animal heads for logos is partially fused with infinity), but I am pretty sure that this is a newer or older version. Logo is very slightly changed, but it is the closest I found in my exhaustive half minute search. Long story short, Rii... I think.

On an unrelated note, I found this while looking. I am not sure why that is a result for 'gaming mouse', but I am now going to buy bulk. I know what everyone is getting for Christmas this year!

Downgraded sensor from previous model(G203 Prodigy) so the deal is meh unless you really want that rgb + brand.

They're gonna tell you "but you'll never notice the difference" but they're just trying to justify their own purchase decisions, as they likely bought it without knowing it was downgraded.

You will notice it if you move your mouse fast enough using low sensitivity in fps.

This sensor isn't at the level where people think it's "good enough to not notice" - that's more in the 3359/3360 territory. This mouse is around 3325(higher model number doesn't always translate to better performance, but it does in this case) level or worse according to the first link. And you can get a 3360 mouse for $7(sure it's heavier, but it's half the price). I bought one of those for shits and giggles; wouldn't touch any of this even at $7. (long time logitech g502/g900 owner, currently using razer 2077 rvu - I'm quite familiar with paying half the cost for brandname)
