I've been using this GCHT controller, it works on my computer and is recognized as a pro controller.

I dont know of any unlicensed controller that can do it.

The "usually" was to cover my ass because not all licensed controllers can. But it is for sure, only licensed controllers that should be able to.

There are lots of unlicensed controllers like this, which are obvious knock offs. They will advertise the feature, but whether or not it actually works as advertised out of the box is a total crapshoot.

Stick with PowerA controllers, pretty sure all of their devices can wake the system.

Edit: looks like it's on sale. It can wake up the Switch which some 3rd party controllers can't.

There are so many good cheap controllers for the switch now. Some better than the pro. They even wake up the system which they didn't do in the past:

Chrome and edge freeze up while the controller is plugged in and resume working when I unplug it. (both are chromium browsers) Firefox does not freeze when the controller is plugged in. Controller works fine for games and everything else on computer runs while it's plugged in.
