Amazon.com and Bass Pro Shops has seam sealer, it is super simple to apply. Pack your tent after it dries, then purchase the seam sealer and apply it when you get home, make sure you let the product dry before storing the tent.

I got the Scout for $100 due to some dye from a different tent discoloring one panel. The seam sealant was about $7 on Amazon, I'm using pegs I already had around, and already used trekking poles, but those are about $20 for a 2-pack at Walmart these days. The only other thing I've done is grabbed some store-brand tyvek as a ground cloth, and that was about $32 for a 100' roll, even though I only needed about 6'.
Altogether $107 + $1.92 in house-wrap (optional) + equipment on hand.
