I tried looking it up and can only see it might be algae or green mold, but I only water like 2.5 times a week and keep the rh around 50. I just started to use these nutrients (lightly) but I’m not sure if whatever I’m looking at here is bad or good
It loves growing up moss poles! I water directly down the pole every 3 days, and mix this fertilizer at half strength in with the water.
I’ve got it in a very chunky soil mix and a slotted orchid pot, so the roots never sit in moisture for too long. They’re pretty forgiving plants so long as they’re in the right soil mix!
My soil mix:
7c orchid bark 1 c perlite 1 c charcoal 2 c tree fern fiber 2 c organic soil
I’d say leave as much green on it as possible so as you might normally cut closely to the branching off point, if the stem is green and healthy leave it long and lop off the burnt foliage. At this point I think anything with chlorophyll is a good thing. I don’t think you need to treat the area you prune. It should harden off on its own in a day or two.
Regarding fertilizer focused to foliage growth I know of hydroponic nutrient solutions that are. Outside of that I’m not sure. The google is your bff on that one.

Exact ratio is gonna depend on what you're growing and what stage of development it is in. For basil, you're going to want something that encourages root and leaf growth, but not so much flowering or fruiting. Plenty of resources online to learn about NPK ratios and there is some light guidance on the bottles concerning mix ratios as well.
I’ve been using general hydroponics’ flora series (flora micro/flora gro/flora bloom) plus their CaliMagic (1ts of each into a gallon of water OR 1ml of each into a liter of water if i don’t have many plants to water that day)and all my leca transfers and props seem to love it. I’ll drop the Amazon link, they have the best price for the series compared to my local hydroponics shop.
Hope this helps!
You can wait a little bit (a week or so) but a month is too long in my opinion. I bought a monstera about this size from a plant shop a few months ago and immediately transferred it into leca when I got home. I added nutrients right away, but just did a small dose.
I use general hydroponics and started with a small dose of 1ml of each solution and slowly worked my way up. She’s taken to leca amazingly and she’s put out 3 big new leaves since!
You can also add some Superthrive. I just got it myself and haven’t used it yet, so I don’t have much advice, but I’ve heard it works wonders!
