guess i should mention that i asked this q because i jumped the gun and bought this humidifier, read about other ppl's experiences with mold, and started stressing that i bought too big of a humidifier. i haven't used it yet. it doesn't have a hygrometer if i'm understanding correctly; it does have a smart mode that will regulate humidity according to a low, medium, or high humidity setting. and it'll shut off or turn back on or lower the setting by itself on that mode. any thoughts? i'm afraid the more advanced humidifiers might break my bank.
