So l've been looking at this myself recently.
General Hydroponics Trio Amazon AU - $80
Is this a decent price for what you want?
this is the nitrogen formula by fox farm
I use Greenleaf nutrients megacrop. it’s good for nitrogen and a lot of other nutrients
For general hydroponics the green one or the red one.
My first Deliciosa was mid-sized and already fenestrated. It slowly yellowed and died off. Even the insurance cutting I took and propped in water died off. Fast forward - I get two smaller Deliciosas thinking I can experiment and enjoy watching them mature. Both of them are starting down the same path in two completely different environments.
One is in leca (pictured). North facing window with artificial light supplementing about 5 hours a day. The ligth source is about 4 feet away because it's intense. No pests. Crazy healthy root system - to the point that I need to track down a bigger net pot (side note - it's weirdly hard to find one that's bigger than 8 inches). I feed with GH General Hydroponics. Ambient humidity is admittedly low (I'm in Minnesota). This was the first of the two to fenestrate and it pushes out new growth consistently.
What gives? It has this almost anemic look to it. I've watched SO. MANY. VIDEOS about their care and there's apparently nothing wrong with my approach. Everyone claims they're "so easy!" I'm about to give up on Deliciosa.althy. This one has a lot more aerial roots, which I've been training to go back down in the soil. I mostly feed with LiquiDirt and SuperThrive. Humidity ranges between 70 - 80% and I have fans for air flow. This one has not fenestrated yet, however, it has pushed out more new growth than the other.
What gives? It's has this almost anemic look to it - mostly on the newest growth, though a few of the older leaves are kicking off, too. I've watched SO. MANY. VIDEOS about their care. Everyone claims they're "sO eAsY!" I'm about to give up on Deliciosa. Help!
