oh nice. how heavy is it?
i used to use one of these but the spiked part damaged my floor.
now i find if i have a decent rug and i add velcro to the bottom of my pedals (something i needed to do for my slave pedal anyway) that's enough to keep the kick from sliding (since it's the pedal "pushing" it forward anyway, if it doesn't move the kick doesn't move)
You can buy a clamp that hooks on the the front of your bass drum and it anchors it to the ground securely. Actually about to buy one myself http://www.amazon.com/Gibraltar-SC-4402-Bass-Drum-Anchor/dp/B0002F76W8 also I highly recommend getting new bass drum spurs since yours is broken, it is pretty essential. Most bass drum spurs will fit your drum. Just go to guitar center and buy one and if it doesnt fit return it and get a different size
Try the Gibraltar SC-4402. Here's a link from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Gibraltar-SC-4402-Bass-Drum-Anchor/dp/B0002F76W8
