Or if you're really on a tight budget, then get a GTX 1050 Ti. Like I mentioned before, I mostly play GTA V for hours and it gives me no issues at all.
See this as an example: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Windforce-128-bit-Graphic-GV-N105TWF2OC-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1526660981&sr=1-5&keywords=gtx+1050+ti
Here is what I am doing. I built my computer last month, when the GPUs were insane. I am waiting for a decent priced 1070 or 1080, but in the meantime I bought a 1050 ti WF OC 4gb. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M6Y671T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I am honestly stunned how good this is overclocked. I am still ultimately going to upgrade, but for right now, I am more than satisfied. BTW, overclock with MSI afterburner.
Also will this GPU: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-GDDR5-Graphic-GV-N1050D5-2GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1500344981&sr=1-6&keywords=graphics+card be compatible with all my stuff? Sounds silly, but I don't see it on the pcpartbuilder so I want to make sure.
For a few dollars more , try to get the 1050ti instead of 1050, it has double the vram and more gpu beef behind it, it really is worth it. If nothing else, the 2gb vram on the 1050 will REALLY hinder your performance to come in the future
Theres a rebate too for that ^
In any case I recommend picking the cheapest dual fan cooler 1050ti you see from these brands -Asus | Gigabyte | Zotac | MSI | EVGA
Obligatory r/buildapc
As an alternative to that 380 linked in the other post, a 1050 TI 4gb would also be a good option at that price range https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-Graphic-Black-GV-N105TOC-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/
I've been running a 1060 from gigabyte for the past few months and am very happy with it.
so this model of the 1050ti has a power connector, so does that mean I can overclock this card? Cause the 1050ti's usually work straight off the pcie power just fine but I was wondering since this has a power connector, could I OC?
this card: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-GAMING-Graphic-GV-N105TG1GAMING-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T?th=1
id run your specs through a power calculator and compare to your psu, I have an fx4300 and a https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=twister_B01MSNCDTA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 in mine and it runs like a charm with a 400w psu
I'd recommend either the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Windforce Graphic Card: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6VcMAbBB1WMJE
Or the ASUS Geforce Dual GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Dual-Fan Edition https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01MYMVAVM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vWcMAb3ND6T47
Both are great but I am partial to the windforce since I have use it in a budget build I did around Christmas time when it was $199CDN. EVGA cards are also highly recommended but the price goes beyond "budget" at this point unfortunately.
Hope this helps
Can save some money by not getting the MSI 1050TI https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Windforce-128-bit-Graphic-GV-N105TWF2OC-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1515555333&sr=1-3&keywords=1050ti
