There’s a time and place for both fresh and dried but how is telling someone NOT to use fresh herbs “correcting?”
Fresh parsley, tarragon, mint, thyme? Cilantro is magical, fresh Dill is inimitable. Fresh cracked pepper is not that pre-ground stuff that’s been in a warehouse for years. They are not the same.
You don’t have to feel bad for using dried herbs but they absolutely do not replace fresh in all cases.
Fresh herbs are the same as fresh vegetables, fresh lettuces. Would you replace all fresh vegetables with dried or frozen ones and claim they are the same?
