Great guide. I have a very similar setup going right now. I used a desk lamp from Amazon. The lamp I linked has 2 models, one with a base and one with a clamp.
I went with a 15W SANSI bulb.. the closest Ikea is 2hrs away so I relied a lot on Amazon.
I hope I'm understanding you correctly.
Could you use any of these lights and clamp them to whatever you'd clamp DMX lights to?
I have the 33.86-inch swingarm light above that's rated for 100 watts and a Hue color A19 bulb works fine in it.

that lamp with a cheap rgb bulb from amazon
I just got this desk lamp: https://www.amazon.com/Globe-Electric-Architect-Balanced-5698601/dp/B00RXSRQCC/ref=sr_1_7?crid=3FFVCGKT0TE9T&dchild=1&keywords=Swing+Arm+desk+lamps&nav_sdd=aps&qid=1631868539&sprefix=desk+lamp&sr=8-7
and this grow bulb: https://www.amazon.com/GE-Lighting-93101230-Balanced-Spectrum/dp/B07NN6SVG6/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=grow+bulb&qid=1631868573&sr=8-7
I think if you're in the market for a "grow light" that's sufficient for a basic low light plant, you can just start with a regular lamp and stick a full spectrum LED bulb in it.
Certainly, I bought this new lamp once i upgraded to dual monitor about 2 months ago! Serves me well with my Lifx bulb - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RXSRQCC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Bought in 2017 from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RXSRQCC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I could be wrong but it looks like it's just the lamp shining behind it from the right side. Here's the one I have then add a RGB bulb
I bought it from amazon. And i put rgb bulb inside it. Here is the link if you wanna buy it.
yeah, but it has same shitty mechanism as lamp

I got 2 similar of these on work and they barely stand. i would not put on them 500$ worth of sensitive electronics
