I have this one and it’s fucking awesome, even has slope and picks up the distance in 2 seconds.
1 battery has lasted me 2 seasons with no low battery either.

I bought this one expecting it to be junk, but it’s as accurate as my friends who spent almost $300.

This one worked great for me all summer, I got one for my father last Father’s Day and it worked great so then I bought myself one.
Just spend 100 bucks and buy this. Got my father one for Father’s Day and it’s worked great so far.
Also, the US Handicap app is good too (not free, but it’s like 30 bucks a year and you can enter in hole by hole and they give you your handicap.)

Both.
If you already have an Apple Watch, there are lots of free options out there that are pretty damn accurate.
However, when you have par 3s or approach shots within 150, that's where a laser can make a difference. It's also nice to read to exact points like hazards up ahead. While most apps can show you the distance to a hazard or the distance to carry a bunker or water, it's not quite the same.
I got a cheap laser rangefinder that has pin lock and slope - Gogogo Sport Vpro Laser Rangefinder and it's great for what it is. $80 with fantastic battery life and pretty durable and if I do lose it, it's not like I'm out a ton of money.

It works great, I have compared to some buddies much more expensive mainstream name brand rangefinders and it's always within 2 yds
Not sure what the difference between the two are but there’s another GoGoGo rangefinder (maybe an updated version of the former) with better reviews that’s also on sale for $15 more
+1 for Gogogo, I've compared it against expensive lasers from Bushnell and other direct-to-consumer brands with better looks/packaging in a slightly smaller form factor, and any distance calculation differences are indistinguishable.
With the coupon on Amazon, I think I paid like $70 or $80 at most.

I bought this on prime day and works like a charm. Within your price point as well.
I got this gogogo one from Amazon this week. Would recommend.
The Gogogo range finder is on sale.

I'll be grabbing one later today
this one. Got it on Black Friday but it's back to $100 now. Honestly though all of these cheap ones are the same software and optics in a different plastic shell.
Very happy with the Gogogo and it's right in your price range. Pin-lock is very helpful.
