Honestly they're just these, the 7.1mm size ones if I recall: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L6FJGR4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_8EjyFbTFSEN7S They don't match with the gray, but they match with the rest of the black accents like the grill and whatnot, but they also aren't noticable.
And I'm on that same boat with you, I bought my car at 8600 miles thinking it'd be pristine, but I still find areas in the paintwork where I ask myself; how dumb was the previous owner?!
Here ya go i looked em up cause i need some replacements as well only 13 bucks GOOACC 240PCS Bumper Retainer Clips Car Plastic Rivets Fasteners Push Retainer Kit Most Popular Sizes Auto Push Pin Rivets Set -Door Trim Panel Fender Clips for GM Ford Toyota Honda Chrysler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L6FJGR4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_quIfFbJQVQ2QQ
You can find all kinds of kits on Amazon. They're all just molded nylon, like these
That plastic is very flimsy because no one ever sees it, and the only time it's ever accessed is when mechanics need to access the car computer, the ignition wiring, steering column, etc. In many older cars, they didn't even bother to include a plastic clip panel.
I always take panels apart for custom car audio, so I bought a whole set. If you don't foresee the need to buy a whole set, I think you can walk into like an AutoZone, Advance, etc. and buy individual clips.
Honestly, it will probably never be a problem without that one clip
Thank you! Having a lot of fun with it.
I saw online some things call bumper plugs - they can paint them to match your car’s color, but I just needed something glossy and black. They wanted something like 20 bucks for TWO. Anyway, found this set on Amazon. I used one of the glossy ones for this set for $13 and now I have extra retainer clips for backup.

Mine usually pops back in however I do have a friend that this happened to. Depending on where it's broken I think you might be able to find a kit such as this helpful. Of course make sure this kit or one similar has matching clips.
Happy hunting!
Does the weather stripping ha e holes in the back which attach to the clips that plug into the frame?
Is the wheel well liner broken or just the clips that hold it in place? If so I’d just buy some of those on Amazon and have a detail shop buff the bumper and keep on trucking.

Yeah, I bought a kit like this: Door Panel Removal Kit
ive the 95 so i dont know if its the same but the little clip that goes over the body where it lines up with the bolt hole is probably on there pretty good so you would just need the bolt. i believe there are three in total right ? all 10mm and then the hose with the clamp into the rad ill find the clip again it does have to support all the weight from the fluid and vibration so maybe they arent the best for long term use but they are good until a replacement. heres a pletora of em. https://www.amazon.com/GOOACC-Retainer-Plastic-Fasteners-Chrysler/dp/B07L6FJGR4/ref=asc_df_B07L6FJGR4/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=331836203478&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13153655242527164730&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt...

If it’s the type of clip I think it is, what looks like the top is actually 2 pieces that you’ll have to pry apart to make insertion easy and then push the “pin” in to fasten it. Take a look at the top row of fasteners on this Amazon page to get a visual on how they come apart.

Some BIG channel locks because you’ll need to bend some metal to get the UCA bolt out on the driver side for sure, I can’t remember about the passenger side.

Grease gun with the correct grease for your UCAs
Might as well get some grease for your U joints too while you’re at it since that’s part of your regular maintenance
Order your struts pre assembled if you can. The basic spring compressor I ordered would not do those truck springs so I had to take mine to a shop.
When you have stock struts off and your sway bar disconnected, put on your new wheels/tires and jack them up individually to simulate full compression. Turn lock to lock and trim/cut anything that is rubbing. You can use a heat gun to re-mold the black plastic in the fenders.
You might need an angle grinder and sledge hammer for the pinch welds.
Bungee cords to hold your front linkages in place when your struts are out.
Needle nose pliers for the clips that hold the brake lines in place.
1/4” spacers under driver side leafs and on top of struts to compensate for the taco lean. You might need longer studs on your strut if you add the spacer. Or just go one clip higher in the driver side strut.
Watch YouTube videos.
That’s about all I can think of for now. Good luck!
Highly recommend one of these if you don’t have one laying around!
I agree ,been using this tool for years......................https://www.amazon.com/GOOACC-Retainer-Plastic-Fasteners-Chrysler/dp/B07L6FJGR4/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=plastic+push+rivets&qid=1644995337&sr=8-3
You can buy nice retainer clip sets on Amazon, its what i did. https://www.amazon.com/GOOACC-Retainer-Plastic-Fasteners-Chrysler/dp/B07L6FJGR4?ref\_=ast\_sto\_dp&th=1
Hahahaha.
Had the same question but in reverse early in my WRX ownership:
“What’s missing from these three clips, and what will it affect?”
Get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L6FJGR4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_dl_AZ0MY0JFGMPPJWGC9EV8 and never need clips again.
When you get under the car, look at the liner behind both front tires to identify where this came off.
Use clips from that kit to replace it (and anything else ever). You can get a clip set from Subaru America, but you’ll pay 3x for them.

You probably just need some trim panel retainers like these. I keep a set on hand.
