I need some advice regarding adult tricycles. We support various adults with disabilities on the weekends and some of them have goals of increasing their physical activity. We live near several different closed trails and I would love for us to start going out!
Most of them have balance/stability issues, so I would like to purchase an adult tricycle for our home. The main issue I am having is transportation to and from the trail. We have a Toyota sienna and use a trunk rack to transport our own bicycles. I don’t think we could transport in the van without taking up all the seats. Our kids would likely come with, which of course adds multiple bikes and a WeeHoo trailer.
I saw some websites recommending something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Goplus-Aluminum-Carrier-Luggage-Basket/dp/B01BD5P0RS/ref=aw_m_crc_sbs_3/144-2585875-4482162?pd_rd_w=8JBdR&pf_rd_p=e68b409d-05b9-42a0-a325-da822b13d08c&pf_rd_r=NQD87MQHYZV8H0NJNBBM&pd_rd_r=4718553a-df16-4d37-86cf-...
Has anyone tried that before? I have thought about just buying a trailer, but that is obviously the high cost option (we will have to also have a hitch installed). Just trying to problem solve before I jump in!
Yeah, this is something you can purchase. It's very similar to this model.
