I wasted a lot of tape trying to stick my power strip but it kept falling because the bottom of the power strip wasn't flushed, it had screws popping out, meaning only 4 points were actually touching the table and not the whole surface.
so I bought this tape and taped 3 layers on top of each other to make the surface even and it worked great.
other crappy tapes were used to hold the wires in place
Good Luck
Sony X90somethingorotherletters? Looks like I have the same exact TV and, yes, they fell all the time. Until I got this stuff. It won’t fall again. In fact, be sure where you want it first. It’s removable but it’s an effort.
Gorilla Heavy Duty Double Sided... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082TQ3KB5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
One of mine completely busted off on a trail. I cleaned all the stuff off real good and got some of this double sided gorilla tape to put it back on. Its better than that stuff they come with. That thing is never coming off.
Just use a different double sided mounting tape than what's provided with the command hooks. I bought Gorilla Tape brand that's heavy duty to use with my command hooks that's supporting some rods on my ceiling.

I bought this heavy duty mounting Gorilla Tape. Had been recommended in some forum or post. Has worked well for me with the few sensors I have had to mount again. Link below.

Going off on your convo with another commenter, I'd recommend using command hooks as support and using heavy-duty mounting tape to stick it onto the wall/ceiling.
I used this: Gorilla Heavy Duty Double Sided Mounting Tape XL, 1" x 120", Black (Pack of 1) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B082TQ3KB5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_1RJDD34T7F91NSVBNT0E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Duct tape is a bit tacky imho. If you really want it to look clean try Gorilla Glue super permanent double sided tape. Just be careful that it WILL damage the paint when you do your monthly re-shuffle of vinyls TicTok. That’s ok because another one will cover it up. Just don’t let your parents know. Some gatekeeping Civic driving boomer told me this will ruin the sleeves or something. Idk what he says cause it’s only the back and no one wants to look at that anyway.
The screws themselves should be strong enough. As in decent enough metal to hold the weight: Is there any wiggle in the screws? If so don’t use. The whiteboard weight might eventually just pull the screws from the wall. If it were me I’d just use some HD double sided tape product like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082TQ3KB5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZQD0R42G5HPR2REPDWG2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
If you use that tape you may have to do some touch up painting when you move out.
Sorry 😜 the alcohol could have potentially killed the adhesive if you didn’t have it dry enough. You could try something like this: Gorilla Heavy Duty Double Sided Mounting Tape XL, 1" x 120", Black (Pack of 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082TQ3KB5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QJ37EWCB7QZ8YZEAZXQW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

They sell it at Lowe’s, Home Depot and sometimes even Walmart. So no need to order online.
reapply with double sided tape
This will hold it

Exactly this, and while you are getting that, pick up some heavy duty mounting tape. The included tape might only barely do the job.
It will not stay. It will stick for a little while but eventually fall with the included 3M strips. The panels are light, so they wont really break anything, but you will have to re-install.
With something like this a roll of 30lb gorilla double sided tape would do the trick applied along the length of the panels.
Wipe the area down with alcohol before applying any stick on items. A while back I descovered Gorilla tape. The stuff is owsome.

Just like everyone mentioned... the glacier bay’s from Home Depot are the way to go and they are cheap... I used mounting tape to hang mines... https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Heavy-Double-Sided-Mounting/dp/B082TQ3KB5?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Easier and less mess. Kind of costly but will last a long time.
You are looking for just strips? Than look at a controller (unless your mother board already has a header) that interest you. Read the manual and it figure out what model(s) of strips it will interface with.

Than decide if you want water proof, color of backing, and quality of glue. (I have just been using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082TQ3KB5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_sbqzFb8RXQV7A)
