Works great! Just wipe it down beforehand so the surface is clean. I use this stuff.
Also the front emblem “nubs” break pretty frequently but its still usable, no one has time to pop the grill off every time they swap emblems lol
I second the adhesive strips but you could go with ones that aren't velcro-based if you don't need to remove it regularly, the benefit being that the KVM will sit more flat and won't move at all as you push buttons.
It looks like your KVM is suspended off the desk a bit so I guess it has feet on it, so I would see if there's a way to remove the feet too because the tape won't stick to the feet too well.
Once they fall the adhesive is pretty much hosed. Get some of this. I put some red LEDs in my Corvette floor boards. The original tape did not stick, mostly due to armorall all over everything. Clean the tv with alcohol and use this.

Do you use something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Tough-Double-Mounting-Inches/dp/B00OXVG9FW
Guess I'm concerned about the adhesive interacting with the humidity and imparting some amount of chemically type flavor into the cigars. I'm probably over doing it, but there seems to be a lot of discussion about it. I'm just struggling to come but with a better alternative apart from some kind of aquarium silicone to affix a bracket that can just hold it.
Here's the exact stuff I used. It's about twice as thick as the lightstrip but it's much better than any foam tape I've tried.
This is the stuff holding my light strip to the back of my tv after the tape that came on the strips failed.

Make sure you put it where you want it, it's not coming off after that.
You might want to give this stuff a try. http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Tape-6065001-Mounting-Clear/dp/B00OXVG9FW
Im going to buy some for when I setup the lighthouses at work. We are in a brick building so im hoping it will stick well to the brick. It says it does...

I used a small piece of this for my dash cam: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OXVG9FW
I'm in Austin and it's held up since last July.
I used Gorilla Tape. I used this same tape to attach small Noctua fans. Reason- you can easily remove, reattach without any adhesive residue on the case or components.
add thick double sided tape? Just layer it up like 2-3 times?

For your pressure switch, get rid of the rubber bands. And, switch to mounting tape. https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Tough-Double-Mounting-Inches/dp/B00OXVG9FW
You could use double sided adhesive like this this
You could also reinforce your game console with a metal shell if you’re prone to dropping this metal shell
Also line your screens edges ON THE CASING of the console with this glue not on the screen itself just place it on the outer edges where the screen rests and use just a small amount. You can use a hair dryer to dry it but wipe away any excess so it doesn’t get on the screen
What about just some double sided tape? That should be able to hold quite a lot. This is the type I normally use and they're ridiculously strong

Reading the reviews for it on Amazon it might not work as well as you’d think. Certain adhesives work better for different things, and glass is tricky. I personally prefer trunk lip mounts.
Something like this one:

Is this one good?
