Mine chewed all sorts of things, especially when he was teething. For that we used Grannick’s Bitter Apple Spray. Saved my furniture. Also, high quality bully sticks. Just take them away when they get short to avoid choking.

We use bitter apple spray to deter them. Grannick's Care Dogs Bitter Apple No Chew Spray 8oz Works like a charm, they tried it and didn't do it again. Now they mostly ignore all my plants assuming they taste awful.
As far as chewing on anything and everything, i kid you not, this saved our sanity! We literally sprayed every single thing in the house that she chews on that she is not supposed to!
She loved chewing on the bar stools so getting this saved our bar stools - err whatever’s left of it anyway lol.
They grow out of the over excited over needy annoying as heck phase! Ours grew out of it when she was 2 yrs old! That was the age she FINALLY started listening lol.
