It depends on your current level of understanding, but here are a few recommendations:
ArXiv preprint server: This is the one of the best resources for current research. This assumes you have a basic understanding of physics. Enter "black holes" into the search. See ArXiv
There are some surprisingly good YouTube channels that keep up with current research, for example, by PBS Spacetime Black Holes and Anton Petrov.
Please do keep in mind that the better your foundational understanding of the physics is, the more interesting and relevant the news will be. So there are some good books, again this depends on your current understanding. For example: Gravity From the Ground Up , The Physics of Stargates , and Story of Collapsing Stars.
