Dan Michaels has a pretty good book called “Green” my gf got me it for my birthday a few years ago. Good read, real weed 101 + 1. Not expert level things. But basic growing techniques. Definitions and lingo in marijuana society. Has a lot of strains and descriptions with pictures but mostly just the heavy hitters like Og Kush and Premium known strains.

Edit: also the hardcover is very aesthetically pleasing. It’s worth the hardcover cost.

Not really a "reading" book but the pictures are gorgeous and there's lots of info.
